Hi, all in all the appartment the view and everything was perfect also very easy to get in the appartment with the code. But the day before we checked in the hotel gave me a hard time because of my service dog and this was not ok. They stressed me the whole day about it even I let them know I bring my device dog 3 weeks or more in advance. And then out of a sudden I don’t receive a message back and I came to big island with a usury feeling if we are welcome at the resort or not. This was not ok everything else was very good!

Excellent location. The staff is diverse, lovely, always ready to help and provide information about the city (places to eat, how to use transportation, things to do). The room is so techie, I loved it! I also liked the fact that we can use the common spaces to have a meal, even if it was something bought outside the hotel. The (free) water fountain at the bar was very useful. The hotel is full of nice and humorous details, it was fun to spend some time looking at them.

Just one thing that needs improvement (although I'm not sure it would be feasible given space limitations): The drawers available under the bed are too shallow to hold big bags. I ended up leaving my bags in a space behind the door.

The location is great as it's next to a bus stop that takes you to the old town centre in less than 10 mins. The guy at the reception was super friendly and helpful. The room was clean, equipped with a fridge, iron, etc. There s a vending machine and a microwave that you can use. However, a hairdryer would be really useful and the pool could have been cleaner.. Overall, it s a really vfm choice.

The Location is very central. From this hotel you can walk through the whole inner city part of Newport with all shops and restaurants.

We arrived two hours to early for check-in, a default problem when moving hotels with early check-out times clashing with later check-in times. The lady at the reception was very irritated by that and told multiple times we are to early. We got a parking allowance and had to spend some times in the surounding restaurants with our luggage in the car. Sadly this did not feel very welcoming and the attitude towards us irritated us a little bit. When we finaly got the room everything felt a little dated. The room is on two floors connected through a spiral staircase that cracked under our feets. Also a warning about the beds. Booking.com describes them as "Doppelbett" or Double Bed in englisch. That is a little bit confusing for german guests as we expect a double bed to be a big bed for two people. Instead it was a small queen size bed where my wife and I didn't fit together (I am also a big man ;)). Therefore I had to sleep on the couch which could be pulled out for a bed. Of course that was not very comfortable. For us the price called for the room did not allign to the value that was delivered. It seems this hotel can rely on its location in the middle of Newport.
