The peaceful riverside setting, friendly staff, and unique activities like fishing, cycling, and boat tours make this place truly special. Loved that it was hidden in the jungle! Basic accommodation but loved the location, tranquility and sounds of surrounding nature. Food was lovely. Sampath and his wife, Ajanta, were the perfect hosts and so helpful. He organised our safari, helped us with a visit to the doctor, took us fishing at the nearby lake and his son came to do a karaoke one night. All very enjoyable and loved Wilpattu NP. An unforgettable experience. My kids loved the frogs!
