I can’t fault it at all. It was even better in person than in the pictures, i LOVED it and was sad to leave. I loved the staff too, learning to dive with them was incredible and im so happy to have the memories

The resort boasts a large fitness centre, pool and a sauna. It is 20 minutes from the Mulu Airport by car. I liked absolutely everything about the hotel.

Located off the coast of Borneo on Gaya Island, Bunga Raya Island Resort & Spa features spacious villas with a private balcony. The resort boasts an outdoor pool and 3 dining options. Free WiFi is accessible from the villas. Very beautiful location. Everything is in very good shape. There is a lot of stuff to do in the resort even with bad weather pool, ping pong, some table games. And for outdoor some hiking, snorkeling , swimming. The food was excellent (the best we had in our trip to Malaysia) There is a lot of fauna too which was very magical. Monitor lizards, hornbills, monkeys and more. But the best of all is the staff. Everyone was incredibly gentle and always ready to make the guest feel taken care of.

Offering a vast selection of international cuisines, such as Japanese, Western, Malaysian and Oriental cuisine restaurants, this resort also offers a beachside bar and a music lounge for a relaxing drink. We stayed at the Ocean Wing in a family room which was amazing. We have been pampered from arrival to departure time. We have enjoyed a lot the reserve and even saw hornbills there, by just wandering few minutes in it. The hotel also organises very interesting hikes in its own reserve. The staff is outstanding, incredible courtesy.

There are several restaurants to choose from with very good food options. The breakfast buffet (included) was tasty, varied and plentiful. The view from the open-air breakfast area was truly tropical.
