The hotel occupies a small island and is a real gem. Top quality facilities - great pool (1.4 m deep all the way, about 70 m long and 15 to 30 metres wide. One can enjoy swimming in different directions) and a good gym open from 6 a.m. to late in the evening. There is also a kids' pool. The room gives you a spectacular view of the town and ocean. The boat can take you to the shore every 20 minutes. However, we stayed in the hotel most of the time having visited the biggest local supermarket (Go Halong) one day. It is not really a place to go out shopping and eating. Enjoy your time in the hotel and its excellent facilities, including a tennis court!

I think one of the best locations to stay in Viet Hai as it is at the upper end of the village, so you you are a bit out of the hustling day-tourists which luckily all leave at 6pm. Then you are really at peace there and can enjoy the village and the valley quietly. The cabins are simple but comfortable. The owner really cares and helped us organizing our canoeing trip to the bay and finally our way back to Ben Bo.
