Charming holiday resort! Beautiful and comfortable chalet with a great view over the fields. Clean and romantic swimming pool. Delicious food! Breakfast was a real feast and you have to take your time to enjoy it. The staff are very nice and accommodating. We would definitely come back if we ever return to Sri Lanka

The staff/owner is extremely nice and helpful. He gave us tips on what to do, offered help with organising whatever we needed. He also prepared lovely breakfasts and on our day we left early we got a sandwich for the travel. Our pickup from the airport was also organised by him. The pool is an amazing refreshment on a hot day. It was extremely clean.

We loved the nights we were there. It has a nice rock view, the room was big, the staff was VERY friendly and helpful, the food was great and the pool area was nice as well. The lovely staff in the restaurant surprised us with nice stories of his life and great experience in restaurants. The wine was also superb. It is perfect for a relaxed stay. Pay attention, there is nothing around (which we loved!!)

Amila is an incredible host. Super friendly, nice and helpful with everything. He took me and a couple on a tour to Polonnaruwa, and we had a chance to talk about the Sri Lanka day to day life, the country's history and current reality. Amazing talks. On the way from Polonnaruwa we had an superb lunch on a very local restaurant (one would never find it online), where he had a really tasty rice and curry. One of the best I had in Sri Lanka! The property is very beautiful, with beautiful views from the Lion Rock, and from my balcony I could see some sweet squirrels, hornbils and monkeys! Amazing experience and place to relax. Totally recommend. The room is quite comfortable and you get to hear the nature sounds during the night - which I found quite interesting - hence using ear plugs make it more comfortable to sleep 😉 You can walk to the center with all restaurants and bars, within a 20 minute walking, which I really enjoyed.

We really liked the big room, breakfast buffet and the amazing location of this hotel in nature. We ate dinner at the hotel restaurant every day, the food was very good. The pool is super and really gives you a resort vibe.

UG and his family are amazing hosts, they cannot do enough for you , we had dinner there 2 nights , first night was fried rice , next night a curry feast.UG has a tuk tuk and we had him drive us to our next stay, he’s a steady driver. The stay is walking distance to the entrance of Lion Rock. UG organised a local safari driver and we saw over 25 elephants close up in the local reserve, it cost $65 for 2 and we had the truck to ourselves. The accommodation is home stay level and has a fan and hot shower. The breakfast is pancakes and roti and fruit, in the evening UG sat we us and told us so much about Sri Lanka and it’s culture and social issues. A great host who is a kind considerate man. I would definitely recommend the place and stay there again

    The Resort was like a little private paradise as they have a few private bungalows and don’t accept a numerous amount of guests. In addition the pool and restaurant area were very nice, giving the option of a various food menu (typical srilankan and international). The Staff was probably the greatest part of our stay as they were very kind and always satisfied our needs. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying a few days in Sigyria.

    The resort was everything you could dream about in a holiday. A luxury in the middle of Sigiriya‘s famous rocks and a pool to enjoy the view from. The service and the room was fabulous, the bed was the comfiest we slept in so far. Since we spent our honeymoon there we could not have asked for a more memorable stay. Thank you everyone to make this stay so special for us!

    We had a wonderful stay at Kaveri Resort; it was like being in a jungle with roomy accommodations and a gorgeous outlook. Our good stay was further enhanced by the outstanding service and delicious meals. Our experience was improved overall by being close to the lake. Highly recommended
