- From £145.58 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 195 reviewsEverything was perfect! Terry and Trudy the hosts are very friendly. They are very nice, warmful, welcome people. They have their own Chef: Eddy, who is as great as them and cook wonderfully. The room is amazing, very clean (with own swimming pool). The lodge is located in a safe giant park where sweet and peaceful animals come to greet you. Yolanda the cleaner is doing a wonderful job. To finish we thank our safari guide: Dirk for his patience and making our Safari a dreamy day. We will definitely come back.Guest review byMirlandeFrance
- From £71.11 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Superb - What previous guests thought, 535 reviewsThis is a beautiful property, in a perfect location if you want to go day trips into the Kruger Park. The host Christine was lovely, and gave us some lovely dinner recommendations in the near. We ate a lovely meal at the hotel one night which was also super and the breakfast which is included kept us full for our days adventure. They offered us a bottle of Champagne and Chocolates as we celebrated a special occasion and we could enjoy it on the balcony while watching the elephants at the river.Guest review byElayneSwitzerland
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.7Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 16 reviewsIt was the best place I have ever been to. I did not expect such service. All the staff was very friendly. All the staff were like best friends who were constantly worried about us. There were more staff than guests in the lodge. The food was very tasty. The Internet worked reliably and we watched youtube. The Lodge area is very cozy and large. We did not think about anything and enjoyed being in this place. The safari was also great.Guest review byAlekseiRussia

It was our first getaway at a provate lodge and we loved every minute of it. A nice place to be. Not enough for a short stay. There is so much to do and see if you visit a place a few days. The Kruger Park is within reach. The eateries are relatively a few km away. Rural but very nice experience for an urban person.Guest review byAbbeySouth Africa - 8.0

I think if you are a couple don't choose single beds maybe double bed is better. The place is full of mosquitoes be prepared and buy something that can protect you that's what we did.the lodge is located in the township not good for other people .no microwave no kettle to make teaGuest review byMrs ManziniSouth Africa - 8.0

It was a treat to have game visit your doorstep any time of day. Enjoyed the view of different types of wildlife all around the park. There's a variety of food areas just slow service in some of the establishments but good food especially at the Bos restaurant. Enjoyed the spar in the park which came in handy with forgotten items.Guest review byKhumalo - 10.0

Marloth is essentially a residential area in the bush -...
Marloth is essentially a residential area in the bush - there are many houses that are privately owned, as well as hotels / lodges / B&Bs. Apart from the main road which is tarred, all the other roads are dirt, but accessible in a car. As you drive you will spot kudu, giraffe, warthog, impala, bushbuck, guinea fowl and numerous other species. We travelled in winter, so the area was dry, however, many houses have troughs for the animals to drink form and guests / residents purchase feed for the animals to enjoy in their gardens - no houses appeared fenced, which was great as this allows the animals to move freely through the area. We also did not note any animals in poor condition - they appeared extremely healthy. Guests can enjoy walks through the area and there is a trail running along the Kruger fence line, along the Sabie River where bigger animals can sometimes be spotted, and is a great spot for a sundowner as there are benches. There are restaurants to dine at and a Spar for self catering needs. There are curio shops and play areas for children. A wonderful place. It was also great to see that the residents are working on restoring the habitat. Go! You won't regret it - what an experience!Guest review bySheaMalaysia - 4.0

The room we were initially offered was not fit for habitation. Our next room on first impression seemed better but we found it had mouldy shower recess, no hot water, broken blinds and window coverings, no phone , a non functioning power point so no hair dryer and chipped outdoor furniture.. We did not get what we paid for and when bought to management’s attention all we got were excuses. A very disappointing stay and definitely not worth the money.Guest review byOn the moveAustralia
