The Hotel FK was a fabulous surprise. Staff was very friendly, the room was spotless and the bed was really comfortable. They have a beautiful area in the back with a pool and a real train wagon. I really enjoyed staying one night in this hotel.

Wonderful place to stay. Lots of activities; paddle, pool, horses etc. All inclusive with very high quality of foods and beverages. Personal was very friendly, attentive and great! Great entertainment team with pool gymnastics. The guy with pink trosers was amazing. All facilities were great.

It was our first time at the establishment, and we arrived through Booking looking for a place to stop over before reaching Montevideo after driving hundreds of kilometers. The result couldn’t have been better: we found a spacious place, impeccably clean, with all services working perfectly. Additionally, it features a green area and a heated pool, ideal for relaxing after a long trip. It’s a highly recommended spot for both couples and families, located just a few meters from the city’s shopping center and the bus terminal. Finally, the included breakfast was the perfect surprise to top off our stay. Without a doubt, an experience we’ll repeat and recommend!

The city adjoining Balneario Ipora is the city of Tacuarembo...

The city adjoining Balneario Ipora is the city of Tacuarembo, Uruguay. It has grown much over the years and many of the maintained dirt roads in neighborhoods have been paved. The city is maintained and kept clean. Reliable electricity, potable water, and all the same foods available in the USA. There are many people and cars and motorcycles, mopeds, bicycles, and buses in the city, but this is just like every other city. There really is nothing strange that would make Tacuarembo unlikable. The city is a mix of old buildings and new. There are restaurants, cafes, plazas, broadband internet, electronic stores if needed. Oh, and the beef there is the best tasting I've had since the last time I was there many years ago. Definitely world-reknown as is Japanese beef.
