- From £82.42 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.4Good - What previous guests thought, 479 reviewsVery large rooms. Clean. A bit farther from the street, so no noise. Beautiful sea view from the window, though it might have looked more like a lake. The pool, although not heated according to staff, had fairly warm water, and it was nice to spend time there. 20-minute drive to Key West, which offers plenty of attractions. Free coffee service available. A restaurant with tasty food just 2-3 minutes on foot but only for dinner.Guest review byKrzysztofPoland

The bungalows are fairly new, but are not well kept you can wipe the floor with a white washcloth damp in it and it’ll be completely dirty with just one wipe in the drawers. There were hair. The bed had a stain on the bed liner after removing the sheets and putting them in the shower for the maid to wash, they never washed that bedliner. It was completely discussed. It probably would’ve left if I didn’t known it was there. There were problems with the room as far as a globe on a light in the bathroom was broken. The room could’ve use a good cleaning, but as I said, it’s fairly new just not well. Maintained probably won’t look nice for long.Guest review byTodd - 10.0
Big Pine key is the equivalent of a locals restaurant.
Big Pine key is the equivalent of a locals restaurant. Not too flashy, not too expensive. 1/2 a dozen places to eat. A full size grocery store. All of 25 miles from Key west. Great fishing. Plenty of key deer. Just a nice laid back spot in the lower keys.Guest review byMatthewUnited States - 6.0

The location was good for getting to Key West, only 20 mins away. there is a good size fridge in the room. the view is nice, but can't enjoy it outside because of the bugs. The Tiki bar is still closed. There's no coffee machine in the room, which really is inexcusable for me. To pay $800+ for 3 nights and have to go outside to the tiki bar to get coffee, no thanks! You need to bring your own hair conditioner, and body lotion. Bottom line, I would not recommend . I didn't eat in the restaurant there, but their menu is high priced. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was grungy looking.Guest review byLourdesUnited States - 2.0

You should not book any diving trips - we did it 1,5 month in advance. At the day of our arrival - day before the trips - they informed us that the trip is not possible. The offered an alternative trip on the next day - but as we asked on the next day at 10:00 AM also this trip was cancelled. So we picked this location especially because of diving and ended up with NO dive at all. Very unprofessional.Guest review byKatjaAustria - 6.0
The lady at check in was very nice.
The lady at check in was very nice. The cottage was ok floors dirty and table clothe had rips in it the rest of the cottage was clean. The Deer was ever were would come right up to you. The reason for our rating the area had a bad sewer smell could not enjoy sitting outside because of the smell. Don't think we will be back unless they do something about the smell.Guest review byChristopherUnited States - 8.0
I found the office staff helpful and kind.
I found the office staff helpful and kind. The beds comfy and lots of hot water. Water pressure just so so. The patio outside was great. Overlooking the water was great, although it was not good for snorkeling it was good for seeing sea life! My kids took videos of lobster and a shark. Fridge was a good size and very cold. Great location = 30 minute drive to Mallory Square or Bahia Honda (maybe a few minutes less). Room was just a standard hotel room and seemed over priced to be outdated and not offer a microwave to at least heat up left overs. Free tea/ coffee in the morning at the tiki bar was great though. Room has 2 sinks, one for the bathroom one in the room which is great and the internet was powerful. We appreciated that. We appreciated being able to modify our stay (due to Elsa) with out penalty, and will stay again.Guest review byMelissaUnited States - 10.0

The accommodations were excellent, loved the little bungalow, everything was very clean and all brand new inside. The little terrace outside was great, I would add an umbrella, but it was nice sitting outside in the morning and evening when the sun was not too hot. Another suggestion is to put curtains on the windows, since it’s very bright as soon as the sun comes out. I would definitely come back and recommend this site. The staff was excellent and very friendly and accommodating.Guest review bySonia614United States - 10.0
Beautiful spot in the middle of the Keys.
Beautiful spot in the middle of the Keys. Relaxing and away from the hustle and bustle of Key West but with enough things that you need such as some stores and restaurant. The Key Deer Refuge is great.Guest review byditravelsUnited States
