I loved the room, but i was disappointed with no complimentary breakfast. Also not enough information on how to check-in, you need to go to the second floor to check in.

    Came for the Prefontaine Classic.

Came for the Prefontaine Classic. The highlight was reconnecting with Pre's sister, Linda. Saw two world records. Seats were good, but quite expensive. Also got to visit an old friend. Overall, a good two days.

    I like Springfield.

I like Springfield. I love going to the river and just sitting and relaxing. I also like going to Gateway Mall. Just hop the EMX and you are on your way and you can go all over! You can even easily hop over to Eugene or also to Thurston County. And if you need to get to the University of Oregon, it's right there as well.

Room above--- continual activity until after 3 AM

Room above--- continual activity until after 3 AM Suspected tweakers ( drug activity) constant walking, dropping items on the floor etc. A multitude of shady looking occupants and beater cars. Establishment looks exceedingly well from it's outside appearance. There was no hot water @ 11 AM the following day after checking in. Was told the establishments laundry was the reason. They would not comp me after stating I would extent one day but was denied. Basically they turned down a revenue producing night because of the denial. Poor management decision.

We drove from Los Angeles to Vancouver and the route that we took we had to drive through Eugene. It was absolutely beautiful. It's surrounded by lakes, streams and beautiful tall trees that just takes your breath away. It's peaceful with not a lot of traffic with eateries along the way. We only drove through but that drive make us want to come back and visit. We loved it

    I love Springfield!

I love Springfield! the Willamette river, the McKenzie river, Mt. Pisgah are so close. Eugene is the other side of I-5. Up north is the McKenzie bend. Springfield starts the Willamette north bank bike and foot trail on Pre's Trail into Eugene that comes back down the south back to Knickerbocker bicycle bridge.

Homely and friendly. Opposite of a corporate hotel.

Homely and friendly. Opposite of a corporate hotel. Magnificent building, designed by owners. Beautiful lake. Lovely scenery. Not much else around Cottage Grove town, so good for couples, probably bit quiet for families.

    Traffic is horrible!

Traffic is horrible! People were so rude it felt like New York! Homeless were everywhere! The pseudo-intellectual set have convinced themselves they are special, and they're right. They're especially disgusting. Do yourself a favor and avoid the place.

DO NOT STAY IN ROOM 130.

DO NOT STAY IN ROOM 130. Downstairs corner room with one bed. The in-room phone was broken. Sink plugged. Shower head dribbles water. TV did not work because the remote was held together with scotch tape. I adjusted the thermostat to “high” when I entered the room … and after one hour … still no heat was coning out of the ceiling vent. Front Desk Clerk offered me a new “upstairs” room. I declined. It was 9:30 PM. I am handicapped with a service dog. It was raining outside, very cold and “no one” available to help me with my luggage to an upstairs room. She told nr that “No” other downstairs room were available, only upstairs. So, I put socks on my hands and feet, wore 2 pairs of PJ’s, AND my bathrobe to bed. I doubled over the blanket & bedspread to help keep me warm. At check out the next morning, the front desk clerk offered me a discount when I I updated him on my room condition. He told me the motel is renovating and apologized for Room 130’s deplorable condition. I told him I was giving this motel a negative review.
