Michamvi is good for relaxing and enjoying . There are few vendors and they are not disturbing you and friendly. We stayed 25 days at Kikoi Boutique Resort and arranged all excursions on Zanzibar as well as a Safari with Sir Alex at Kikoi for reasonable prices and with good service . Their Cook Mister Mahaveer Sing is a real Master Chef and we enjoyed every meal he prepared us . Compliments to all the people working there. You made our stay unfogettable. Please remember that Marumbi is a Village in a poor third world country and therefore there is very little to do. A few local shops. A couple of local Restaurants (We loved Bustani), no bars and a hotel that doesn’t welcome outsiders. beautiful beach!!!! However not the best beach for bathing because when is lower tide you simply have to walk to much for a swim. beach in the north are better if you have kids. the welcoming commetee was amazing. They made us feel at home. Checking in was a breeze and the pool bar staff was so helpful and friendly. I loved the music by the pool area,it was inclusive to all nations. Tha food was amazing the whole experience was great. I was there to celebrate my birthday and they made it extra special. From the decoration in my room,to the suprise cake and singing.i had a good time. This area has less tourism than some other areas in Zanzi bar, it has what you need, different restaurangs, a super market, beachbar and so on. There is not so many other tourists here so you feel like its really a part of an small island. If you are looking for highend dining and alot of shopping then i advise you to look for another area or do as we did - get a car or a taxi its ok priced for a full day. The traffic was really suprising - its was better then most so called modern countries - slow, keeping distance -respecting each other - we rented a car for 3 days and it was super nice. We payed 30usd/day + 10usd for the local driving license - dont drive to fast or drunk - the police are really on there toes - and mind the big roadbumps... We ate a lot of lobster and fish - always fresh - never dissapointed, we also ate alot of vegetarian food - its everywere great dishes.Guest review byAffeSweden - 6.0

Its a remote beach far away from the airport, it took me 1:30 hours to reach, and with a late flight u reach a gost city, no place to buy a sim card, to exchaeg money, taxi drivers are like sharks, the road is narrow, not lit, not fully paved, my old taxi driver did an accident, the beaches are amazing, great white sands, cool lovely waters, but tides are very low and high over the same day. 50 meters away from the beach and you are out of the paradise into a nondeveloped village, prices are as high as euorpe and the service quality is almost nil.Guest review byKhaledEgypt
