- From US$719.10 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.4Superb - What previous guests thought, 17 reviewsA week after our stay here, it’s still hard to put into words how to sum up our safari with Serena. From the moment we arrived at the airstrip to the moment were dropped off, Able, our guide, took great care of us. He was highly professional, highly knowledgeable, his tracking abilities are extraordinary and took us on an experience we’ll never forget. It was just the two of us for the 5 days with Able, so it felt very personalised. We also took an evening and morning boat down the river where we were rewarded with even more incredible experiences! Boatman Zak’s knowledge and spotting skills were also first class. Back at the river lodge, the staff couldn’t do enough for us and our meals overlooking the river were unforgettable. Our lodge was so spacious and extremely comfortable and we loved the outside showerGuest review byAnnaUnited Kingdom
- From US$207 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Superb - What previous guests thought, 24 reviewsThe way that the location is run co-exists perfectly with Julius Nyerere National Park, and on top of that the facilities were perfect, food was tasty and the location is beautiful. The staff were also extremely helpful to the point where I can say they saved us! We had been let down by TAZARA train services so we’re going to be stranded, but the safari manager helped us to arrange a very reasonably priced private charter flight on only a few hours’ notice. We opted to take a game drive, and our guides were extremely experienced and knowledgeable. We were able to see species I’d only ever seen on TV or in movies and even a pride of lions with cubs (very rare to see in the daytime). Highly recommend the whole offering of this establishment.Guest review byLouisUnited Kingdom
