Quiet beautiful place. Excellent breakfasts. There is a pier to which you are brought by boat. A huge number of restaurants around for every taste and even a couple of massage parlors. And no noisy bars, everything is very decent. The territory is well-groomed, the house is bright and spacious. Special thanks for the rooftop bar, very nice to spend evenings and meet the sunset. Pleasantly surprised by the quality and the level of service. Koh Mak, wait for me again.

It is a very nice and clean place, on one of the main streets of the island, close to shops and a couple of beaches. The room and the bathroom were spacious enough, and although having basic facilities, everything was sparkling clean. The white colour of the walls, furniture and bed, emphasized how clean and fresh was the room. The manager is very kind and helpful and the breakfast she makes every morning was very delicious (eggs - cooked differently every day, salad, hot dogs, fruit, toasta, butter, jam, cocoa for me and depending on the day you may have bacon or avocado). The internet was good and the AC was working at European standards (if you set up for cold, you need a jacket). Also I received a free ride from the place to my next accommodation place.

Our stay at this accommodation was unbeatable. We felt very comfortable here - the facilities were very practical and comfy, at the same time the staff were nice and we felt at home. The breakfast and the overall food in the restaurant was excellent. Thank you for this great service and we will be happy to recommend this accommodation to everyone. We stayed 5 nights in the suite at Good time and were very comfortable. The rooms & balcony were a good size. The balcony had a view over the beautiful gardens. The hot water shower and AC worked well, and there was a decent size fridge to keep our drinks cold. We were collected from the pier on arrival in a cute electric golf cart - bonus points for being green! The staff Mr Peak and Lek were friendly and helpful. We rented a cute scoopy scooter from Mr Peak for 200 baht /day in very good condition (hope in future there might be an affordable electric option too, better for the environment). It was nice that they had such beautiful grounds to walk about in and a swimming pool. We loved musing at the interesting & unique character of each of their other buildings scattered about the complex gardens. Daily housekeeping was available on request, as well as change of linens. We could also get water refills at reception , and buy an espresso for 35 baht (comes with a biscuit). The Wi-Fi worked well, great for remote working. there are comfortable chairs and tables to use, and a decent size wardrobe with a sufficient amount of hangers. The area is peaceful and quiet, with good beaches in walking distance as well as small convenience stores and a couple local Thai restaurants all within around or less than 15 minutes walk.

The location is unreal! It’s totally away from the huddle and bustle, perfect for us and wanting to be in a tranquil escape. It was so peaceful listening to the waves and birds at night and mornings. It’s a small complex so always plenty of deck chairs and places to sit and not many guests. Feels like a prefect private place to have a break. The owners are so passionate about giving you a perfect stay. They collected us from the pier and dropped us off. When we arrived we had a fresh coconut and mango sticky rice. Our room was very large, great working new air con too. Shower was powerful and hot. They went above and beyond more times than we could count we extended our stay once there as it was so perfect. From free coffee, breakfast, free kayaks, they arranged scooters for us and helmets too, advised us places to go. It was just so perfect! We will definitely be back. After all that and more they even gave us a small gift as we left. Thank you

I had a great time on Ko Mak. Great accommodation, good location, sea, restaurants and cafés within walking distance and very friendly hosts who lovingly look after their guests. Absolutely recommended!
