She is the sweetest, kindest person ever, nothing was too much trouble.
The homestay was beautiful and stylish and it was a privilege to be part of this boating community for a few days.

GuernseyThe passenger boat dropped us off at the wrong pier but the owner sent a vehicle to pick us up, no problem.
Excellent breakfast every day and room cleaned every day too.
Really helpful owner and his family. Rented a motorbike from them and they also arranged to transfers back to the airport for us.
Excellent location, not on the beach but that doesn't matter at all.

Confortable, king beds in a beautifully designed room. Amazing bathroom design and shower with natural light from above. Nice private outdoor area with pool and sun deck. We loved our stay, we’ll be back.

All the personal are so welcoming and smiling. There is an excellent restaurant which every morning serves up a yummie breakfast whith lot of things to choose from and great variety of food not the same every day😋. All staff in restaurant so friendly welcoming and smiling. A great restaurant at night too. Try there LAAB MOO. It's sooooo good....... Next to restaurant is the supercool Hidden Gem beachbar where you easily can kill a couple of hours every night sinking down in the comfy beanbags listening to nice music and letting Nut and Cham mixing up the most tasty drinks for you or just enjoy a simple beer. Whatever you choose yes this is a gem and the staff in the bar are equally smiling friendly and welcoming every single night. Since the rooms are right on the beach is really good cause you can use the WiFi right on the beach works fine. They also have brand new scooters on site for rent for exploring the island and they also provide a map. The staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful. The pool Villa was extremely comfortable and for us, it was preferable to a beach villa. It was easy to hire mopeds through the hotel. The beach and the sea were perfection. The fact that the resort is so small made the whole experience feel exclusive, and as if our comfort was a priority for the whole staff team. Breakfast was absolutely brilliant with lots of choice and great coffee! It was also easy to arrange onward travel through the hotel. The pool was perfect for the children and so quite, they had it to themselves a lot of the time. We had a double Villa with plunge pool, this was perfect for a family of four with two older kids. The staff were exceptional, so kind and so friendly. The food was lovely and the sunsets were incredible! To get the most out of the island you really need to be happy to ride a moped, we did not do this as weren’t happy having kids on the back. Koh Kood is a genuine hidden gem. The tropical beaches have crystal clear water and there are some great snorkeling spots if you look hard enough. Make sure you get down to The Fisherman Hut and mention Whimsical Tricycle to the owner, Tom. He will know what you mean. Enjoy! But keep it secret. Koh Kood was absolutely stunning. The beaches are beautiful, very peaceful, and not crowded like other islands. It’s a true gem in the otherwise quite touristy Thailand. The island has retained its charm and natural beauty. The only downside was the presence of many sandflies on the beaches.
