The breakfast was delicious, actually more than we could eat, she insisted to make some sandwiches with the leftovers and take them with us on the trails. NetherlandsThe property is right beside the road infront of a supermarket and atm and has lots of parking spot( private as well as public). Host Sonja and Ziva were very helpful and welcoming. The room was big and had comfortable beds with air conditioning and fridge and coffee.The breakfast was delicious and homemade bread, cheese and jams were very refreshing.
The place has lots of wooden carvings which is quite aesthetic.

She was very welcoming to us and takes time to give you tips about the surroundings. The breakfast she prepares every morning is delicious with meat from their own farm. We also loved the cakes. There is a big garden in front of the house near the river where you can sit very nicely, there are a lot of things for kids to play with as well. The room was cute and cosy and very clean. Building is quite new and all furniture and bathroom was made with excellent taste. It is situated in the middle of the Robanov Kot valley surrounded by mountains. Let's say that no phone service and WiFi is a plus. Shops are available in villages a few minutes by car. An excellent location for outdoor activities, especially hiking and cycling. The nature here is really beautiful and we visited this region several times. It also has several really nice restaurants with local specialties and organic food. This time we cycled to Pavličevo sedlo and along the panoramic road and went on a hike towards Matkov škaf. Last time we hiked to ancient cave Potočka zijalka and Ostrica mountain. We ate at the Majerhold mountain lodge below Pavličev sedlo, at the Žibovt farm by the panoramic road, and at the Ojstrica restaurant in the Logarska dolina. Everyone is very friendly. Solcava was a beautiful village, very close to Logar Valley.
Solcava was a beautiful village, very close to Logar Valley. The views are spectacular! The air is so fresh and crisp. It is very soothing for the soul. We hiked to Slap Rinka and drove the Panoramic Road. We would have liked to have more time for hiking and exploring. The only downside would be lack of restaurants. We were there in May, so I'm not sure if there may be more options in high season but we had a difficult time finding a place for dinner. The place we ended up was in Luce, Gostlina PR Lampi. The food was very good traditional Slovenian food and excellent wine. Our waiter had a wonderful personality and was a joy to visit with.Guest review byElaineUnited States
