Particular shout-out to Maria from the Front Desk, and Anais, Rhea and Ryan in the Straits Club, who all provided service that was above and beyond. Our stay at the Fullerton was probably the best experience we have ever had in a hotel. Pharmacy shops are available nearby in walking distance, which is very good. Big city full of everything. If you are traveling alone or with kids, you will find something for your needs. The city gets very hot during summer, so be prepared. A pro tip: Sentosa is not so good, although it is nice with beaches and all, it is very touristic, but the harbor is far from a nice blue paradise, it is full of oil ships, containers, and the view features an ugly oil processing site :(Guest review byAndryItaly - 8.0

Lived in Malaysia for 11 years now this was my first time to JB, I arrived in Singapore and took the coach to JB via the woodlands checkpoint and then onto JB central. This journey is not for the faint hearted going through the check points with luggage is no joke !!!! and at the wrong time of day you don't want to be caught in the mass amount of workers going back to JB from Singapore as there is literally hinders of people going through the checkpoint. And trying to go through with luggage and trying to get back on the bus at the other end is horrendous to say the least.
