- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.4Very good - What previous guests thought, 466 reviewsPretty much everything! The property was really tastefully decorated and clean, there were good facilities on site, and tortoises that you could go pet and feed. The staff were top tier - super friendly and kind and they were always seeking to make our experience better. We really enjoyed the breakfast, the option for a free afternoon tea and cake, dinner was also really yummy. I was quite sceptical at first because of other reviews not putting this hotel in such a good light, but was very pleasantly surprised that our experience was the complete opposite. I’d encourage anyone considering to book a room here to go for the garden option. This is a really peaceful part of the hotel, with access to a pool and the gym, and right by the tortoises, it’s also just very well kept and quaint. I’d like to put an extra emphasis on just how good the staff were, I’ve never experienced such exceptional hosting, from all the receptionists, waiters, kitchen and bar staff, everyone was always on-hand to help.Guest review byHannaUnited Kingdom
- From £174.90 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 274 reviewsThe location is very good, near to Anse Geogrette, Valle De Mai, Cat Coco Ferry, Restaurants, Souvenirs Shop and the white Sand beach is just behind the Hotel. The wood furnitures inside the Hotel and in the Garden are very unique and warm. You feels like home! My special thanks to “ERICA”!! She was very helpful for everything!! She was caring a lot and taking care of everything like a mother!! A big big thanks to her!!!! My 5 days holiday in Praslin was great and unforgettable!! Highly recommend!! Also my big thanks to the guy who brought my good breakfast every morning! He’s very nice & friendly. Very helpful too and always smiling! Thank you very much!! - Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Superb - What previous guests thought, 317 reviewsIt's a really great place, very calm and beautiful. The personal does everything to make your stay unforgettable. The villas are just perfect, spotlessly clean, comfortable and have really everything you might think of. Starting with a small basin at the entrance to wash your feet from sand and up to mosquito coils for your everning relax on the terrace. The villas are located on a reasonable distance from each other so no one is disturbing you there. The park is thoroughly taken care of, the restaurants and take-aways are at a pleasant walking distance (walking on the beach, wich is an additional advantage). As for the sands flies - we didn't meet them. Though the beach there is not the best on Praslin, so we didn't swim there a lot. Though it is just perfect for relaxing on the beach chairs listening to the wavesGuest review byEkaterinaRussia
- From £82.05 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.5Good - What previous guests thought, 35 reviewsApartment is cozy and big, especially for two people. The furniture is older, but we knew that when we booked from seeing the pictures, so we knew what to expect. The owner is a really nice and friendly lady. The neighbours offer a daytrip to Curieuse island with a discount and you start your trip right in front of the house, which is perfect and the trip was really great. The bus station is also 50meters away, which is great for exploring the island. Everything else you need (supermarket, restaurants) is in a walking distance.Guest review byPetraSlovenia
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.5Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 200 reviewsOcean Villa was the perfect choice, very private and quiet.. It has great location to visit the island by car and just on the beach, where we always were alone and it was very nice and quiet. There is also a new swimming pool. The personnel was very friendly and taking care of the details: they made good recommendations, they prepared a dinner with delicious fish and even organized a nice detail with a cake as it was my birthday.Guest review byArinaSpain

My review is for Anse Lazio..
My review is for Anse Lazio..Everyone says you have to go there..we took a bus there..Luckily at the bottom at the bus stop at Villa Minoir a young gentleman gave us a lift to the beach..in the heat, with no taxi or bus going up to the beach would have exhausted us ..we met an elderly couple who we took with us..it would have been impossible to get there,in the heat, and we would have been exhausted..so to hire a car in praslin is not a bad idea..Coming back,we were told to ask the gentleman at the gift shop to taxi us to the bus stop..he however refused..not sure why..maybe he was exhausted in the heat..3 lovely ladies from Seychelles were kind enough to take us to the Bus stop..when we reached it..The bus just left..They kindly dropped us at our Hotel..Their kindness will forever be rememberedGuest review byFatimaSouth Africa - 10.0
Staff were lovely, extremely polite and attentive.
Staff were lovely, extremely polite and attentive. Always went out of their way to ensure you were comfortable and looked after. Pools were lovely and peaceful. Beach was beautiful. Anse Georgette well worth the visit, and had a brilliant little cocktail/drinks stand. Walkable but you get very hot on the way! Otherwise can organise a buggy to take you.Guest review byRory - 8.0

island with beautuiful beaches. A self drive car is a must. must snorkel and dive must visit La digue and explore the various beaches of the island on bike. Vegetarian food is a little difficult. we couldn't find nice cafes which had eggless options.Guest review bySaketIndia - 8.0

Grand Anse itself does not deserve a long time, being a beach, that's it, depending of course, on what you expect to do. Praslin itself is not very interesting compared to Mahe or even, La Digue. Praslin is good for few days, and the most interesting is on the other side, East Coast, since Grand Anse is on the West one.Guest review byLaurentCzech Republic - 6.0
It's a very picturesque small village.
It's a very picturesque small village. We didn't see much of it, unfortunately. It rained a lot, which kept us indoors. Curieuse Island is exceptional. It's a must-see. However, be aware: the snorkeling part is rather disappointing. If you have your own gear, bring it. The equipment provided locally was quite basic and of poor quality. Gerry, a local taxi driver, is outstanding; if you ever get the chance to explore the island with him. You really need to choose the right time of year. The Seychelles lose some of their charm in the rain. Moreover, the biggest challenge remains the cost of everything.Guest review byStephaneUnited States - 10.0

The beach is picture-perfect and not very crowded, with transparent, incredibly coloured water and thin golden sand. There are many trees and also beach chairs. The food and beverage service provided by Le Chevalier Guesthouse is excellent.Guest review byOskarAustria - 8.0

The location is out of the tourist accommodation area but is is very close to the Jetty. It is in the middle between the west and the east side of the island and you can drive either way. You are more close and in contact with the local people and you find all the facilities- groceries petrol restaurants nearby.Guest review byAnatIsrael - 10.0

Rino at welcoming center has really made our vacation feel like home. His warm welcoming at phone even before we arrive and his care during our stay made our visit unforgettable. Fauziah, who is our customer consultant was such a nice lady. She was always contact with us during our stay and checked constantly if everything was ok with us. Hotel was extremely clean and amenities are very well thought. Our room was just mind blowing. We stayed at Room 61 and it was just 32 steps from our room to the beach. Anse Kerlan Beach has very rich and living undersea life with lots of live-corals and fishes, so I suggest you really mind not to use that one in order not to damage corals. Water is shallow and it is quite risky to swim there. There are also sea turtles nests on this beach signed with warnings, so please be careful where you walking on. Remember that having small precautions at your side will create a huge impact in general in sea life and eco-system in a long run :-) Instead Petite Anse Kerlan and Anse Georgette Beaches were extremely beautiful and very safe beaches for swimming. Just take your eyes on your children, cos of some wild waves. If you bring sea shoes with you, they would be very useful for whole trip in Seychelles. Our room was very spacious and cleaned 2 times a day. Kudos to house-keepers and a big thank.Guest review byRosanorgeNorway - 8.0
Very nice beach when it’s high tide.
Very nice beach when it’s high tide. The water is warmer and calmer than in other sides of the island , although there is good amount of seaweeds. Snorkelling is average comparing to other beaches. Beautiful sunsets though!Guest review byYakovUnited Arab Emirates - 10.0

I liked staying at Grand Anse, it has a sense of a small community but not a noisy one. One has to take either a rent a car or a bus. We rented a car for one day only, enough to see the island, and we took one bus ride No 61 around the island. Bus ride should be a must for everyone. Excellent experienced driver but the ride is not for lighthearted.Guest review byCesic
