I had a great stay at Fat Lips. The team running the place are super nice and friendly. Special shout out to Tim, the owner, who comes with big smile, great advices for surfing experience also gave me a ride when I arrived to find a motorbike to rent. Overall a nice person to hang out with in the mornings while making breakfast in the common area. I know I have a friend when I go back again to Siargao. :) Lest to forget mentioning about two absolute adorabale friendly dogs, Mia & Tiger. Location is great. You will find the sign on the street and after a 1 minute little adventure you'll find the place. Very close to surfing areas, like Cloud 9, etc., close to Cafés and a nice BBQ. Rooms are clean, comfortable and and facilties are new and in good condition. Good internet (starlink), good AC, good shower, the rooms come with a fan and a light which could be used during electricy cut-off. My room had a big balcony that made my stay even more pleasant. I'll be back!

The owners as well as the staffs were polite, heartwarming and thoughtful people. The place is exceptionally clean and the ambiance of the whole property is very relaxing and quite, ideal for those who needs a place to relax. The room is huge and comfortable with all the basic necessities for comfort. We will definitely go back to Casa Basa. 🙂

We had a great stay at Bamboo Surf Beach, the location is fantastic being right on the beach, the team are super friendly and helpful especially with sorting surf lessons and scooter rentals, and the Mango Curry is delicious!     Patrick’s on the Beach was the ideal place for my stay in Siargao. Located right on the main road of General Luna, it’s super convenient to get to everything, while still feeling like a peaceful hideaway. The resort is beachfront, offering direct access to the ocean with no reef in front, which makes swimming easy and enjoyable—especially at night, thanks to the lights installed in the water. Relaxing Atmosphere and Great Facilities The rooms were clean and comfortable, with hot water in the shower and a spacious terrace that had an amazing ocean view. I also appreciated that the room had a good setup for working, which made a big difference during my stay. Everything felt well thought out for both comfort and convenience. Fantastic Food and Social Vibe The restaurant at Patrick’s serves really good food, and it quickly became one of my favorite places to eat on the island. The attached bar and restaurant area also had a great atmosphere for meeting new people and making friends. It felt like a little community of travelers and locals alike. Unbeatable Location for Surf and Chill One of the highlights for me was how close the resort is to “Cemetery” surf spot, which is perfect for beginners. Being able to walk there in just a few minutes was a huge plus. Despite being in such a central location, the whole place is very quiet and perfect for relaxing after a day out. Warm and Professional Service Last but not least, the staff made the experience even better. Everyone I interacted with was incredibly friendly, helpful, and professional. It felt like they genuinely cared that guests had a great time. Overall, Patrick’s on the Beach offered everything I was looking for—comfort, convenience, great food, and a warm vibe right by the ocean. I’ll definitely be coming back!

    Amazing beach resort. The place is just stunning. We loved that the resort is a breach front. We liked how the bar, restaurant, and infinity pool were located. The beach lounger were excellent tool to have a rest looking at the beach.The rest area near the bar and the pool table were also great to have. The villas are great. We had a comfortable stay. It's clean, spacious, comfortable beds, air conditioned, fresh towels everyday, mini fridge which is good, the bathroom/shower was excellent with complimentary toiletries and hair dryer. All staff were amazing, friendly, and helpful. It was also good to have another pool by the entrance. The buffet breakfast was tasty with lots of choices and it changes everyday. We also had dinner and again, food was superb. It was handy to have a laundry service and staff can assist on that as well as booking tours. The resort is very accessible and it's within the centre and therefore, shops, restaurants, ATM machines, bakery etc. are within close proximity and only walking distance. We enjoyed our stay and will be back. Highly recommend.

    they were a lifesaver during the power outage. the staff were incredibly nice and helpful. all of them made made sure we had a lovely stay. they prepared a romantic dinner set up for my partner and I for our anniversary and it was beautiful. it has a peaceful vibe and the breakfast was also delicious. the pool was a nice temperature and it has a great location in general luna.

    At first I kinda did not like the way going to the exact place, but when we found out the other way/easiest way, we felt relieved. The owner was very accommodating and also the in-charge cum reservation/receptionist, she was very kind and helpful, she had given us all the information regarding the places where we should go and enjoy. It was a very short stay but a worthy one, very affordable and family friendly homestay.

    Burgos is a wonderful place to stay when visiting Siargao. It's a lot more peaceful than down south but there are beautiful and much les crowded places to explore. There's good 4G signal so you can stay connected but just travelling 15 minutes further north and you're totally off grid which is great. Easy to get to Secret Spot and Tangbo beach for surfing, Alegria beach for tanning and swimming, Tak Tak falls for cooling off in the heat, Kolekbibo, Lokal Hub and Izustarri for tasty food/drinks and lovely views!

    Dapa was not our destination just a pass through.

    Dapa was not our destination just a pass through. I stayed at Club Tara Near Sohoton Cove. The reason for the overnight stay in Dapa was because the PAL flight landed after the last ferry from Dapa to Socorro. Remember to research the ferry times for Dapa to Socorro. Do not pay P 5k from Dapa for a ferry. This is a scam. This review is from April 2022 and the area was hit with a typhoon in December 2021 and is opening back up after the pandemic.

    We stayed in the General Luna area and was a bit surprised to see how much trash and dirty areas were in the area. We were told to visit Cloud 9 and its nice for surfing, but dirty area, dirty restaurants, and very dirty streets. I would not return for the beaches or areas, but would for the surfing.

    I had a problem with the booking because Alexias hostel there are 2 units. One in El Nido and other in Siagao. When we booked to Siagao as a mistake but we stayed at El Nido unit. So I can talk about Alexias El Nido: You that read my review, should meet this place when you come to El Nido, even to take some beer or a te or a cofe in the sunset. The hostel is open to receive you just to chill with the view. The place is amazing! Need be discovered

    Poor water pressure in the bathroom.

    Poor water pressure in the bathroom. Air conditioning was not working. No extra fans available. Care taker not helpful. I had to book extra room to accommodate my group since the original room they gave us is too hot, aircondition not working, no fan and windows won’t close. I had to pay extra money for the inconvenience.
