- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 1,233 reviewsIt was so nice to have a hot bath, clean, comfortable and warm room we actually moved here after spending a night at another hotel that was supposed to have a bath which was the main reason of our booking having been on the reed islands for a few days. Really wish we'd stayed the 2 nights here as this was much more up there at almost the same cost and it was right on the plaza, fiestas happening all that day around there but it was quiet at night. They even let us check in early 10am as our room was ready waiting for us which was a bonus, we had an early start to catch a 6am bus the next day and the nice girl on reception offered to order us a pack lunch which was perfect, they also booked us a taxi to take us to the bus depot. There is help yourself free coco tea in the reception and the staff are all friendly and helpful. It's a great spot for visiting Puno or just a sleep over for your next stop.Guest review byElizabeth JaneSpain
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.9Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 19 reviewsJulio was a great host and his wife prepared very nice meals. Lodge is very comfortable with Western shower & toilette and looks like in the pictures. Location is great and views are spectacular. Highly recommended to stay at least 3 nights as Julio organizes tour around Uros with great history background and ride on a reed boat. You can also use kayaks on the premises. There are also great sun beds that you can use during the day when sun is quite strong. Trip to Taquile Island can be organised at the additional cost. Julio is originally from Uros, so by staying at his lodge you support original Uros society.Guest review byMonikaUnited Kingdom
- From £1,009.18 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.8Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 9 reviewsThis is probably one of my favorite hotels I have ever been to. The staff is always here to help and are very professional and well trained. The hotel and amenities are really beautiful and the location could not be better as the hotel is right on lake titicaca facing isla taquile. The food was good and all the little additional attentions were appreciated (5pm service with delicious cocktails or wines to be enjoyed near a brasero outside or inside, after dinner tea service, welcome drinks…they were too many to list !)Guest review byAgatheBahamas
- From £134.93 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 574 reviewsRoom had a view to the lake and lovely property. The grounds are beautiful and have llamas running around at certain times. Bed was comfortable. Hotel provided oxygen, which was necessary for us. Staff was fantastic and attentive. Provided us with treats. Hotel was clean and well maintained. Buffet breakfast served every morning was good. Had dinner in the hotel and the food was tasty, but the spectacular view from the dining room made it even better.Guest review byGayUnited States

A comfortable room with balcony facing Lake Titicaca. Good hot water supply for showers. Lovely staff who are ready to help for all your needs with recommendations of things to do around Puno, booking taxis into Puno (costs 15 soles each way) and to the airport etc. Good selection for breakfast, classic Peruvian dinner menu.Guest review byWen JieUnited Kingdom

Lake Titicaca was absolutely wonderful.
Lake Titicaca was absolutely wonderful. However, we did spend a night in Puno (on the land). The Airbnb was very hard to find and once we did, we realized that it did not have any heating and the shower was lukewarm. Even though it was a beautiful property, we needed these amenities, so we left and checked into another hotel. Unfortunately, the hotel had heaters that barely worked and lukewarm water. I would say just a night or two at lake Titicaca would be good enough for me.Guest review byUrvashiUnited States - 10.0

Isla (island) Amantaní and Taquile are both very remote, about a three hour boat ride from Puno, But I would highly recommend going for a very unique and traditional experience with a Peruvian family. When you book a tour, they usually take you to both islands, but an overnight with a family on Amantaní. I would recommend two nights because it is far and then you have time to fully relax and enjoy the community!! It was also fun to stay in the home with other travelers, four other people from three different countries in Europe! We hiked to the top of the island for sunset where there is a beautiful memorial/ worship site for Pachamama (Mother Earth). Also, the food prepared in our home was very delicious.😊Guest review byMarian McCallUnited States - 8.0

We stayed in Puno for two nights and it was perfect for visiting Lake Titicaca. The town itself is simple but has everything you need—restaurants, shops, and easy access to the lake tours. The experience on the lake, especially visiting the Uros floating islands and Taquile Island, was unforgettable. A great stop on our Peru trip!Guest review byShamilCanada - 10.0
This is the most peaceful place on earth.
This is the most peaceful place on earth. The island offers the most sacred experiences. We spent two nights there, eat completely organic food from the garden, our host was amazing. If you want an authentic Lake Titicaca experience, this is it. Their 11 year old son took us to the fountain of youth, the Pachamama and Pachatata temples on top of the mountain. We had a wonderful experience with a local Shaman. This place is well cared for, host and family are the most loving people, sharing their lifestyl with their guest. There are no cars on the island, you walk everywhere. The boat ride to their place was breath taking as it is on the south side of the island, very private and quite.Guest review byAnonymous - 6.0

I like the Plaza de Armas and the restaurants in the city, good prices and a lot of little markets with a very reasonable prices. The hotels were also reasonable. I would avoid to sleep in the islands just visit for a day but not stay, specially during winter due to the very cold weather and most of the hotels do not provide a heater unless you request.Guest review byTompkins
