- From £130.52 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.9Good - What previous guests thought, 2,052 reviewsLocation was so close to our training centre, easy to walk too and from. Lots of close restaurants, takeaway shops. Close to Cuba street, quiet. Really clean, lovely towels and a great hairdryer. Coffee and tea facilities. Bed wasnt the best on oneside, probably the side everyone sleeps on, so needs to be turned or replaced it. TV remote was not working, reported it but it didnt get fixed or changed, not sure if that was because my do not clean sign was up. Food is great, lots of options.Guest review byFrancesNew Zealand
- From £107.90 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.0Very good - What previous guests thought, 2,750 reviewsThe room was really big and comfortable, it had a few coffes and tea. I didn't take the option of breakfast as i find it a little overprice for a breakfast (but I didn't check the quantity of quality of it). The location was good, could be better. I arrived to the Aiport and took the AX BUS from the airport (10nzd) to the Railway Station and walk like 10 minutes to the hotel. The hotel is big, prety, clean and the staff really kind, they allow me to do check-in 30 minutes before the time.Guest review byMarcosArgentina

Love the breeze and fresh air windy at times but I love the cold weather Recommend the August eat for breakfast and brunch, very nice food is great, a lot of wood quality restaurants and bars nearby. There is a tepapa museum, market on the Sunday very cheap to get your veges and fruits and a lot of food stalls to enjoy.Guest review byAnonymous - 2.0
We left straight away and did not stay.
We left straight away and did not stay. The driveway was completely dangerous, we got stuck half way up and had to walk back down to the bottom to find help. There was no way we could have been able to come and go as needed. The house was also freezing. We contacted to say it was dangerous and unsuitable and would be leaving straight away and got a notification the message had been read but received no reply.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Everything within walking distance.
Everything within walking distance. However there's NO pedestrian crossings from the motel side of the road! I'm a bit slow with bad hips and I was taking my life into my hands to get across to the mall lol. Great little cafe called "Local Authority" under the council building next to the gym! Fantastic coffee and lovely staff!Guest review byChrisNew Zealand - 8.0

All in all it was a very good experience staying and I would stay there again. The unit was nice and clean and the staff were very welcoming. The local Indian restaurant is the best Indian food I have ever had and the service was exceptional not to mention that the prices are very reasonable. We tried to get into the Thai but it was fully booked. We went to another restaurant down by the beach which was upstairs but it was so noisy that it was to hard to hear. We were down for a funeral and had a car so very easy to get around the area.Guest review byGinaNew Zealand - 10.0

There is no Uber, only their local Taxi, which makes getting around without a car quite difficult They do have a lot of Beaches and Reserves close by, and when I stayed at the White House up the hill, I had an epic view with the best Sunset.Guest review byClliffdog01New Zealand - 8.0

Great place. The beach and surrounds have much to offer. For a low key activity go to Nga Manu. Relaxing and informative! Watch the eels being fed and attempt to see a nesting kiwi. We did, but not much action to see. If you like nature, just go.Guest review byIvan & SharynAustralia - 10.0

I was catching up with friends and family so that was my focus on this trip. Wellington does have brilliant cafes, restaurants and attractions such as the Cable Car, Te Papa, Mt Victoria lookout etc. Parking in the city is expensive so look into parking apps as they can save you lots of money. The Wakefield Market on a Sunday is worth going to but parking can be challenging if you go later in the day.Guest review byNigelNew Zealand
