The staff are lovely. There is good access to a full kitchen. The shared dinning are and room (which had a private bathroom) were modern and well maintained.

Helen is a wonderful, welcoming host. The house is in a good location near Arthur's Pass and makes a great stop if you're driving cross country. We opted to include the dinner and breakfast and both were delicious. The common area and bathroom is shared with another room/visitors and we were lucky to have very enjoyable company so it felt like reliving the old hostel days as an adult 😀
