We very much enjoyed the Nepalese style and atmosphere of the place. The owner is a legend of mountain climbing. Everyone knows him and he knows everyone in Lukla. He was very helpful and efficient in organizing a b plan when our flight to Katmandu was cancelled. There is no other place in Lukla if you want to experience Nepal.

My cousin and I both stayed in rooms with private showers. The entire hotel was immaculately clean and staff couldn’t have been more helpful and welcoming. The views are stunning and the location is bang on the upper start of the Everest view point trek/Tengboche trail etc. The bed was very cosy and shower warm to have a comfortable shower. Finally this is the best food we have had during our entire stay in Nepal. Given the high quality of the hotel and how delicious the entire menu looked we tried everything that took our fancy (meat etc); all was cooked fresh to order and was absolutely delicious! Don’t hold back! When I return to Namche I’ll 100% be staying here again. They have only been operating for a year and their attention to detail shows. To the entire team; thank you for a delightful stay, I wish you all the best :)

A very warm atmosphere. Warm, friendly and helpful staff. We felt taken care of in the best of ways. The place is a bit higher up and away from the busiest part of Namche, with a great view of the village.

Amazingly tasty fresh food. Vegetarian Daal bhaat and thukpa were the best so far on the ebc trek. Sharada was a wonderful host who speaks fluent English but was generous and patient in teaching me Nepali. The rooms are new clean and fresh. Brand new carpet on the floor!! I had a fantastic mountain view . Located in a great easy to find spot in the centre of this small village.

Almost everything was perfect. A good hotel like facilities for the price of a lodge on the Everest base camp trek. Meticulously designed and clean rooms, very warm due to double insulation. Even the washroom was insulated, such a blessing in the cold. Comfortable beds and clean washrooms. And the charging and wifi is free in the room price, which is not common in places at such altitude. The restaurant was almost like a fine dining with attentive service, great food, presented aesthetically. Dinner started with warm towels, which is a luxury in such cold weather. The lady running the lodge was extremely warm, friendly and hospitable. She even kept our extra luggage and didn't charge although I didn't stay at her place during return. Very touched with her hospitality.

Legendary Nepali hospitably. Beautiful property, comfortable rooms, spacious bathrooms, good quality bed and bedding. The electric blanket, in the absence of heating and the limited availability of hot running water, is a welcome bonus. Very good restaurant.

After a hard trek with a heavy bag up the hill, it was great that it is the first lodge you come to. The room was good and had a great view. The dining area was very warm and had a very friendly atmosphere about it. The food was really good, delicious and very generous portions. It's also next to the big monastery which is very impressive to walk around and great that it's a 2 minute walk away.

Aviators must visit Lukla just to experience the very dangerous runway and precision landings. Also, the helicopter trips take you close to Mt. Everest...so that's a huge plus. One must be prepared to walk a lot on mountain tracks

Amazing place, perfect stop of to gather your thoughts and look around the Lukla Airport and watch flights take off and land, plus the helicopters and an array of shops with all sorts for sale to kit out any trip to base camp.. the locals are so nice and friendly and you can get a Sherpa and guide there thus saving you the hassle of dealing with sales reps loitering around the hotels in Kathmandu.. I was solo traveler (and I'm 68) and just went and sorted out my trip on a daily basis... easy and had no one telling me "come on time to go" I did my own thing with me Sherpa, who's name was Danna and his family live in building at "Beauty Shop" in Lukla, so go look him up and he will sort you out ... tell him Irish Dave said ha ha,,
