- From £207.47 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 307 reviewsThis was our third visit to Shametu and it did not disappoint! We have camped before in the fantastic campsites but this time opted for a tented chalet on the river. Beautiful spacious accommodation with the HUGE bonus of zircon. We stayed on a half board basis and the food was very good. Great choice of wines too! We took one of our breakfasts on the river at a small extra charge. Well worth it! Tranquil with sightings of hippo, crocodile and a myriad of birds all pointed out to us by our excellent guide.Guest review byJan HaraldNorway
- From £80.31 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.1Very good - What previous guests thought, 79 reviewsThe hosts, Hennie and Veronika, were super friendly. Everything went very well, they organised a boat tour on the Kwando for us and it was fantastic, we saw many birds, hippos and other wildlife! The food was great and the rooms were comfortable. The location is also very good and the view is truly magnificent! I highly recommend this place!Guest review byJean-ThomasBelgium

Magnificent place. Lot of things to see in town.
Magnificent place. Lot of things to see in town. People are very friendly and helpful. Wish to visit again but you need your own car to move around. For westerners everything is available but still one sees real Africa.Guest review byJari KuuluvainenFinland
