The reef surrounding the island is simply amazing, particularly the exit next to the water villas (nr. 4) and the ones facing north-west (nr. 5 & 6). Just snorkeling we had the chance to see an incredible variety of fishes and corals, we also swam alongside a turtle and sharks a couple of times! Staff is great, always gentle, kind and willing to help and assist. The food is great both in quality and in variety of offer, we really enjoyed our full board selection. We particularly appreciated the lack of "holiday village entertainment" and the authentic look & feel of the island (preserved but not over constructed). The water villas should be refreshed - they are a gem but furniture is not well preserved and now quite old. Currently the villas have 3 kinds of roof, with different colors and some feature colored fabrics covering some pieces: it's a real pity as they do not look premium and ruin the overall scenery. I hope they are just temporary. Additionally, extra costs are quite a burden, as rates are high and you even need to pay for plain water even if on a full board service.Guest review bySarah MirneItaly - 10.0

We had a beautiful welcome msg in the bed for our anniversary and a beautiful candle lit 4 course dinner set up by the beach, staff went over their way to make things very special for us (Dinusha a Srilankan by national was an exceptional staff) with great customer service, he knew exactly what to do to make us feel extra special , went out of his way to make things beautiful for us, food was awesome in every aspect, presentation, taste, quantity and so forth all prepped by an amazing Srilankan chef. Definitely will recommend this place to all of our friends and family travelling to the maldives ❤️Guest review byNirmal - 8.0

It is a really nice island to stay with excellent staff and diving centre (especially TOM!). The working people are nice, smily and polite and do their best to make you have a superb stay. Even with rain and storm it looks like paradise except for people who are afraid about rain and waves noise at night ... The only negative point was that on last day : the boat brought us as expected to a sea plane to reach Malé airport but the sea plane didn't bring us to Malé but to another island to pick up passengers without informing us ! As long as the weather was really bad we were sick on board to be forced to face much longer flight time than expected. We should have been informed !Guest review byLucFrance - 2.0
Resort on the edge of a garbage dump for 225 euros per night
Resort on the edge of a garbage dump for 225 euros per night The island measures 300 by 900 meters. The hotel is located on a polluted ocean shallow, immediately to the left of the hotel there is an ever-burning garbage dump spewing clouds of poisonous smoke, an airfield is being built to the right. On a private beach, you can fully enjoy burning plastic from a landfill to the sound of working excavators. The beach suitable for swimming is on the other side of the island, walk 900 meters through the village. You can swim there, but you will have to sunbathe under the loud sounds of pumps, concrete mixers and stone crushers, because there is also a production of building materials right on the beach, just 50 meters long, and some factory is very close. The water is sticky, fetid sewage was floating in the water twice in 10 days, very shallow, the bottom is full of glass and metal objects, if you go along the coast from this beach to the left, then there is a port behind our beach, then a beach for locals where you can’t be in swimsuit, followed by the construction of the airfield to the hotel itself, then the aforementioned landfill, then the production of building materials and the factory, then our beach. That's the whole island. In the middle is a village with 800 inhabitants. Photos and videos with sound are attached. Meals in the hotel, I would call some kind of fish diet, 13 days only fried fish with lean rice or pasta. From drinks, warm water or some kind of sweet mixture of jam with water. No desserts. A few vegetables and fruits. Breakfast was always cold, consisting of scrambled eggs and some kind of pancakes.Guest review byYuriiGermany
