- From £86.13 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.4Very good - What previous guests thought, 702 reviewsA gem in Luxembourg. Firstly the location is outstanding, beautiful scenic back yard with a lake and surrounding wildlife made for a great place to read. Trails into a hiking spot which I took full advantage of. The actual building is very well maintained and decor-chic. Rooms were a lovely size for me, bed comfortable (I don’t usually sleep in hotels but did here), fan for comfort- rooms were cleaned daily. Re breakfast; judging by previous reviews I think we’re used to over consumption so are only comfortable with a huge spread for breakfast- however this would be totally out of context for the establishment (I believe there are approx only 10rooms here); the breakfast was ideal, selection of cereals (ask for non dairy milk), bread+ spreads, eggs, hot meats, fruit etc everything you can ask for a good breakfast. The little touches were appreciated-cards detailing all channels by language and a card detailing hours for all meals provided at check in were very welcome. The attention to detail made is obvious. The husband- wife duo (Sabrina and Camylle) running the show are brilliant and are what make this place. The dinners- made by Sabrina- were outstanding and very well priced- I definitely over indulged! I only speak English- Camylle is fluent and always around happy to help with anything so no problem there. Bus is stop is 1 minute walk away with great connections. All in all this place is great value for money- you get so much more than just a cosy room. My go-to little haven now for a mini individual or romantic break.Guest review byArfanaLuxembourg
- From £94.74 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.7Good - What previous guests thought, 1,098 reviewsStaff: The staff of the hotel is BEYOND friendly. We were usually for the breakfast (Which was included) and the staff nevertheless gave us our breakfast with a smile in the face. I think it was the manager who will also bring us food recommended by him to the table, specially nice home made cakes!Guest review byDanielaGermany

I was here for business and the Ibis I stayed in was doing what it needed, I slept decently. I saw very little of the town, so I cannot recommend this. I went to the Agile Tour Luxembourg which I definitely CAN recommend :)Guest review byVanessaNetherlands - 8.0

The hotel was clean and breakfast was good but on a downside our room on the third floor was so so hot - there was a fan but it was just too hot and we didn't have a great sleep due to the temperature in the room. It was great that they took dogs though.Guest review byJimbo161United Kingdom - 4.0

I was very surprised that I booked a room for 103 Euro over booking.com and when I arrived there was a note hanging there that the rooms cost 75 Euros a night.... Big difference, to bad I already paid booking.com 103 Euro for a 2 star hotel, no fridge, no welcome water nothing. TV working with only german language on.Guest review byGuyThailand - 10.0
Lovely town with many bars and restaurants.
Lovely town with many bars and restaurants. Whilst we were there, there was a market over the weekend which was very busy, selling local produce & a few clothing stalls. They also had a stage set up and local bands played there each night. One area has been made over into a small beach with sand & deck chairs, great for children to play, whilst you enjoy a drink!Guest review byCaroleUnited Kingdom - 4.0

The apartment in itself was quite ok if for the basic amenities. But the customer support, in times of trouble and the lack thereof made my stay at Sanem, a bad experience. Instead of having a relaxing evening after a long day at work, I was hunting for parking spaces and getting yelled at by annoyed neighbours who neither spoke English nor German. If there were no issues and no interaction with customer care, this place might perhaps be a good stay.Guest review byAJGermany - 6.0
The city had really good bus service.
The city had really good bus service. However, getting there and back to the airport in Luxembourg (Findel) is far too difficult. This may be a result of the massive construction in and around Luxembourg's train stations. What should have been an easy trip back and forth did not happen.Guest review byTerenceUnited States - 8.0
The booking by booking.com did not reach the hotel owner.
The booking by booking.com did not reach the hotel owner. We were at the hotel but there was no sign whatsoever this is hotel. Everything was dark, no name, nothing. Locals didn't know this address is a hotel. We called the manager, it took her 15 minutes to learn I actually booked a room. The manager was not the smilie type, nor was she interested in us, she was efficient thoughGuest review byBertNetherlands - 8.0

There were local establishments within close proximity for eating and socializing. There is also a super market in town for the nights if you want to stay in. The old Steel factory is a cool sight to see; fully rejuvenated to fit within the community to embrace its past glory days of processing & manufacturing Steel. Public transportation is available but was not feasible for direction I needed to go. I was very dependent on a local friend to get me around the area. There is a large parking garage below the Del Haize grocery store for those that bring or rent an automobile.Guest review byHenry
