"Wonderful stay in Negombo! im from Germany, I truly appreciated the warm Sri Lankan hospitality. The property is very close to the beach, which made it perfect for relaxing and exploring. I really felt welcome at this stay and enjoyed my time there a lot, even stayed for one night longer than planed because it's an amazing place to calm down after arriving in Sri Lanka or before going back home. The stuff is very friendly, the breakfast was super delicious and I also liked the cooling in the pool! Also the area itself is beautiful with all the animals and plants. I'm a solo traveler and really appreciated the help of the resort manager and his team. The manager even took me to the beach one day so I could hand out there for a couple of hours. They also show me the way to the bus station. Beds are very comfortable.

Facilities are clean, neat and extremely pristine. Location is very relaxing and the view from the garden is simply superb. The owners are a very sweet family; all of then made our stay simply perfect. They were over every single detail to make our time there the best investment we could have made during our trip. Our recommendations for other travelers is just “make yourself a gift and spend time in this place”. Hiru Lagoon it’s just a piece of heaven on earth.

    I hear from others Negombo was great area for the visitors also it is closer to CMB airport that was the reason I selected there. After I explore the area there are so many nice hotels are there to book and also heard down south area is becoming a good spot for the tourism than Negombo.

    Katunayake is a convenient location for travelers, especially those flying in or out of Bandaranaike International Airport. It’s a busy area with easy access to transportation and essential services, making it ideal for short stays before or after a flight. I stayed at Hello Airport Hotel during my time in Katunayake, and it was a great choice. The hotel is just a few minutes from the airport, which made it perfect for my early morning departure. The location couldn’t be better for transit passengers. The check-in was smooth, the staff were polite, and the room was clean and comfortable. If you’re looking for a no-fuss, convenient stop near the airport, I’d definitely recommend Hello Airport Hotel.

    The owner, Mr Nelson was extremely helpful from the time he picked me up from the airport until the last minute of my stay. Specially, in the midst of the Sri Lankan curfew. Thank you. I recommend this place for anyone in the future.

    Perfect one/two nights on arrival take a tuktuk tour its worth it and last night before you leave. Negombo is 30 mins to the main SRI Lankan Airport, much close than Colombo. Also all hotels have UK plug sockets which is useful

    We stayed here overnight after travelling around Sri Lanka. We did not expect the warmth and kindness we received. The room was very cheap, yet large, clean and the proprietor even gave us lifts locally to the shops etc.

    I like most of the thing is staff's response was excellent...

    I like most of the thing is staff's response was excellent and very quiet and peaceful room. The hotel must be implemented to do below the mentioned points. 1: The hotel room needs to keep a dustbin. 2: The hotel must keep a bath towel inside the bathroom. 3; The Bathroom inside the slippers needs to be kept. Other than this everything is ok.

    Its one of my favourite places in Sri Lanka.

    Its one of my favourite places in Sri Lanka. The food places like Prego, Toro pub, Bamboo Kitchen with Shisha, Rodeo are some of the amazing places. The Browns Beach and the people are amazing and loving. Infact Poruthota road has a SPA CEYLON boutique you can use it for mssage rituals from Luxury Ayurveda. Beautiful coastal lines, fsh markets, churches etc. A must visit.

    I arrived too early BUT, as a result, had a GREAT pedicure and head/neck massage, about an hour in all. Perfect preparation for a 10.5 hour flight to London. Recommended go early snd indulge yourself.
