Antigua & BarbudaThe Sago Palm hotel exceeded my expectations in everyway. Located in the heart of every thing. Getting out and around was easy. I traveled alone and I felt safe when I went out. Lots of shops and restaurants around to sample the local delicacies and feel the true spirit of Jamaica. The staff at the hotel were all phenomenal! Great food that came piping hot! Clean and well maintained rooms and surroundings. I can't fault anything about this hotel. I am very happy that I chose to stay there and will return and proudly give my recommendations.

CanadaGreat location in the Sandcastles resort. So this is someone's condo inside the resort and the resort rents it out while the people are away. It’s on the main street very near the cruise terminal, many stores, restaurants and tourist traps.
The beach is a fenced out public beach but you get access for free with your resort bracelet. Unlike in Negril, you can't just wander to the beach at any hour.
The resort has a pool with a mini water slide and a bar with live music at night. It gets lively.
Since it's a condo, the wifi somes with the condo, it doesn't work in the full resort. The kitchen is equiped with a fridge and a stove.
I used the resort's laundry service, they were courteous and fast.

Both villas were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed—from cooking utensils to washing facilities. The homes are located in a secure, gated community, which gave us peace of mind throughout our stay. The area felt very safe, and the location was ideal for getting around and exploring. Keith was a fantastic host—professional, responsive, and incredibly patient as we navigated our own issues. He swiftly ironed out any minor concerns and always made sure we were comfortable. Jason was also great to interact with—friendly, professional, and quick to assist when needed. Both Keith and Jason were always on hand and made the experience feel seamless. The on-site LFA Country Store was a huge convenience, stocking most essentials you’d need during your stay. Keith also shared helpful local recommendations, including places to eat and visit. I personally recommend the Rooftop Bar & Grill in Salem—the next town over—for a great meal with a view. Puerto Seco Beach is another great option—a beautiful private beach located about 30 minutes away and well worth the trip. As an added bonus, Keith also offers car rentals at a great price, which makes getting around even easier. Wonderful place.
Wonderful place. We enjoyed everything about it (find the little gem which is the natural mineral pool - so refreshing!). The staff are wonderful -- friendly, helpful and attentive. It was a pleasure staying at this property and it exceeded all expectations! The modern updates seamlessly blend with the island charm, creating a perfect retreat. The rooms are spacious and beautiful. The kitchen is fully equipped, making meal prep a breeze, and the living areas are ideal for relaxation. Saint Ann’s Bay isn’t bad just make sure you have a driver or know how to get around by taxi or the bus. The club,1212 was very nice the VIP lounge was the best. Ochi Rios typical tourist location in Jamaica where specific populations are served. There are hidden gems to be found but you have to search them out. Insiders stay up in the hills above Ochi and drive down. The toll road is not far so you can explore other parts of the island. I loved the beautiful beaches and great places to buy tasty food. The streets were lively at night so I didn't feel afraid venturing out at night. I loved flavours beach, the place was clean, they had a bar and restaurant which was convenient and also a area to shower for a small fee of $300 Jamaican dollars. The property provided exactly what I needed to feel comfortable. The location is great, it is peaceful and it allows me to feel really safe. My favorite restaurants are very close so there was no need for excess travel for food. The host is accommodating, courteous and very helpful.
