- From £77.73 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Superb - What previous guests thought, 131 reviewsThe owner and all generations of the family do out of love. I arrived and it was about to rain and I was offered an umbrella. I was leaving in thunderstorm to wait at the bus stop across the street, and again I was offered an umbrella to leave at the supermarket where the bus stop is located. I was also allowed to check out late. Wonderful people and place.Guest review byWendyCanada

Stia is a small, authentic town, an hour's drive from Florence. It has some really nice restaurants, such as the Kaymà restaurant in Hotel Via Roma 33, or L'Ospitale Dei Brilli, where we ate several times. Book a table in advance, as you'll miss out otherwise. There's a nice park with a small waterfall within walking distance, a large COOP supermarket, and a fresh bakery for everything delicious. There are few shops, but nearby towns offer some. From Stia, you can also plan hiking trips or other outdoor activities.Guest review byDorienNetherlands - 8.0
A small town that has some nice restaurants.
A small town that has some nice restaurants. If you are staying in an Agriturismo you don't need to go out, just for groceries and you can cook your own food. A quiet town that is friendly. I Was there for work and it was an excellent stay.Guest review byZainaItaly - 10.0

It is very peaceful and the weather was great ( cool ).Being surrounded by forest , the air was fresh and clean.A visit to the old library in the hermitage is a must ! We have a friend who is a monk in Camaldoli who arranged the visit for us . If not,we believe you have to send an email at least a day before to book a visit .Guest review byTeck SongItaly
