Only the top floor has guest rooms. So it is smaller than you might think from the pictures in terms of guest numbers. The great thing is that its sister hotel over the road has everything you would expect in a top class hotel including many great restaurants, bars, etc which you can use as a guest at Mayfair Convention... but your room costs much less than those over the road. If you are travelling to see the old part of town/temples, it is a fair distance away but transport is very affordable. The team at the hotel are incredibly welcoming and arranged transport and tours for us to Cuttack, Konark and beyond. The hotel was not as show in the picture the room was very small. There is no lift for the building, no maintenance for the hotel the pillow cover and bedsheet and comforter are already used one they provided there hair on the bed and to the bedsheets and the pillow cover are not washed at all they are full to sweat smell. When i asked the management regarding the issue that pillows are sweat smelling and fhe bedsheets are used bedsheet there is hair and etc on the bed sheet. They replied for that the laundry people didn't come so we are providing used onces only they answered for it. They didnt provide Ac remote There is no connection for the tv There is no wifi for that hotel There is No cleanliness and neatness for the rooms. If you have a calling to visit puri Jagannath temple, you must visit this place. The temple aura is amazing. It is one of the most sacred places for Hindus and the Jagannath temple & Konark temples are nice architectural marvels too. This city has a long and cherished history. A wonderful city with a lot to see and eat. Getting around is also very easy now with ola and uber! Visiting Konark and Puri are a must. The Lingaraj mandir and Dhauli Stupa are also worth visiting. Dont forget to pick up stone and wood carved souvenirs along with some ikat clothing. And ofcourse dont leave without savouring the taste of rasgullas and chennapoda!Guest review byPatricia - 6.0

Puri is totally a changed city now, much more cleaner and much more organised. We had very good darshan of Lord Jagannath. The temple premises are very attractive and tourist friendly. Puri is well connected by train and road. Our journey to Puri by road was very much enjoyable, it just took one and half hour from Cuttack. We had a grand stay at Fortune, beach side hotel and enjoyed the delicacies in the hotel.Guest review byBasantaIndia
