- From US$187.90 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.0Very good - What previous guests thought, 653 reviewsWe were really surprised how nice the accommodation was! The house was quite big, clean and modern looking. The terrace is a huge plus, there were even outside curtains for more privacy. The beach is literally less than 70m away from the furthest of houses and even during the busiest season felt quite empty and not overcrowded at all. You can call Uber / Bolt and get around easily without having to drive your car around all nearby locations and discover other lovely beaches and coves. We're rating this accommodation a 10/10 and would highly recommend to anyone. The breakfast was nice with a lot of options,. The best thing was that you can choose whether to go (you can pay on the spot) or stay in bed longer and don't have to worry about your prepaid breakfast. :) The pool closer to the houses was open 24/7 so you could go for a quiet night swim and opposed to the other one that was closer to the reception it was empty most of the time, which made it our "private" pool.Guest review byMilanCzech Republic
- From US$234.58 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Superb - What previous guests thought, 2,973 reviewsI recently stayed at Medora Auri, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations in every way. The facilities were top-notch, offering everything one could possibly need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The location was excellent, with easy access to various attractions and amenities in the area. What truly stood out, though, was the exceptional service provided by the staff. They were consistently helpful and attentive throughout my stay, always going the extra mile to ensure I had a pleasant experience. Additionally, the hotel's strategic location made it convenient for me to explore the surrounding areas by car, allowing me to travel and explore the country with ease. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at this hotel, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay.Guest review bySamirahUnited Kingdom
- From US$219.41 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.0Very good - What previous guests thought, 987 reviewsAll the contents that the resort offers are extraordinary. The rooms are cozy, comfortable and very clean. The location of the resort offers a complete vacation for all generations, with many beautiful beaches, promenades and bike paths. The staff is extremely friendly and professional, which further increases the value of the service. And only the food. A very diverse range of delicious food enriched with the flavors of the Mediterranean but also interesting delicacies from Turkish cuisine that we were delighted with. In any case, a great newly discovered location that I will appreciate visiting again.Guest review byBeganovicBosnia and Herzegovina
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 6.8Pleasant - What previous guests thought, 93 reviewsThis is difficult for me because I switched rooms. The first night I was staying in a seaside room but I couldn't see the sea so when I asked to be switched, the gal at front desk wouldn't believe me and kept insisting that I was in seaside room. Finally, she agreed to switch me to a tiny, tiny room but the VIEW WAS INCREDIBLE so even though the room was much smaller, I didn't care because the view was worth it! The smaller room did not have a tea kettle. The other staff was good, very pleasant.Guest review byLesleyUnited States
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.3Very good - What previous guests thought, 2,192 reviewsGreat location and experience. They have a shuttle for luggage that take your stuff when you arrive by ferry and you can do a short 15 min walk. Make sure u walk on the promenade against the sea as google takes you through a more difficult route. The breakfast was really good and the food and drinks at the bar were great. The pool area is very clean and fun to be around and the views are beautiful. Very helpful staff.Guest review byAliBelgium

Stunning place to visit particularly for History lovers.
Stunning place to visit particularly for History lovers. So many little sights like diocletians palace, Gregor of Nin statue, Bell tower etc. Even though touristy felt safe throughout and the night life was alive. I would recommend doing the island tour from Split to see places like Vis and HvarGuest review byGaryUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Smaller yet compact old city center where you will find...
Smaller yet compact old city center where you will find everything you need just in few steps. Big grocery store just next to the bus station, big outdoor market place, fish market, promedande, countless number of restaurants, public transport and several beaches. The only downside is that during the peak season it is really crowded.Guest review byEvaSlovakia - 6.0
Makarska is nice place to visit in June and September.
Makarska is nice place to visit in June and September. July and August is very hot and a lot off tourists on the beach, and on the streets. A lot of traffic, problem to find parking place. We only walk and stay overnight in Makarska center. Biokovo skywalk is fantasticGuest review bySlobodankaNorway - 6.0

Hvar centre is over priced and if you do not get recommendations where to eat you could end up paying a lot of money for poor quality meals. The island itself is beautiful and worth exploring on your on own. Jelsa would be a much better based than Hvar old town, where a glass of wine is half the price!Guest review byPhilG75United Kingdom - 10.0
For me, this is simply the best place in Croatia.
For me, this is simply the best place in Croatia. It's smaller than, for example, Makarska, and lacks noisy clubs and loud nightlife, which I consider strong advantages. You can find everything you need: beautiful beaches, bars, snack stands, and upscale restaurants. Renting a sunbed or umbrella is easy, and exciting water sports equipment, such as water jets, is also available. Highly recommended.Guest review byKrzysztofPoland - 10.0

Kaštela is a great & beautiful little town with great little restaurants with reasonable prices, nice architecture, 1500 olive tree, & picturesque beaches. Very close to big cities Split and Trogir as well as to the airport. Idea for the calm family vacationGuest review byViraPoland - 10.0

Initially we thought it was a bit far from Split, but then realised it has a lot to offer (good beaches, restaurants, cafes) and transport into Split is one bus ride. For us it was all we needed - swimming every day in sea and hotel pool, good lunches and dinners in local restaurants, a trip to Split and a trip to the island of Brac for variety. Omis nearby is interesting too.Guest review byWebsterUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Perfect for a chill holiday.
Perfect for a chill holiday. Beautiful, lots to do, great restaurants. Would recommend the Golden Horn beach for a swim, booking SUP boards for some exercise and wine tasting at Stina winery. If you decide not to do the wine tasting tour, it's a lovely place to sit and drink their amazing whites on the promenade overlooking the sea. My favourite restaurant was Vendetta - Sushi boats for 2 are a must! Family run Pumparela restaurant at the Port was also superb, delicious food (including vegetarian for my daughter) and really friendly. EnjoyGuest review byMaryUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Nice beautiful place but mostly if you are with car so you can move around in all Makarska and even Split and Trogir quiet easily, food isnt the strong side of this area ,best time to go is September or June for sea and sunGuest review byShimi MichaeliFinland - 10.0
Crystal clear water and you can see straight to the bottom...
Crystal clear water and you can see straight to the bottom even when it’s deep. The water is so clean it’s almost unreal, like swimming in a giant natural pool. If you love pristine beaches and amazing water quality, this place is absolutely worth it. The only downsides are that getting into the water can be a bit tricky since it’s rocky rather than sandy beaches. Also, the supermarkets have very limited options - even the biggest one doesn’t have much variety if you’re planning to cook during your stay.Guest review byЕвгений ПрусовGermany
