Exceptional stay and 100% recommended. Staff are excellent - Angela, the host, allowed me to change the dates I had booked without any trouble and Rudy, another staff member, organised my tour to Livingston and transport to Lanquin on short notice. The lodge is also wonderful, with the bungalow being the perfect place to relax and enjoy your stay in the jungle. Whilst the lodge is a bit far from the centre, it makes for a really nice walk or, alternatively, the staff will arrange for a boat trip that takes only a few minutes and is completely free.

The property is so nicely done, very comfortable from the moment you arrive. You feel at home here because of the two wonderful hosts that will show you around the area, organise transfers and provide great food! Also the facilities and decor have been done very beautifully so that you can just hang out in your bungalow and enjoy the quiet. Nice staff and room! It is noisy die to the road but if you live in the city it is the same amount of noise. We were so tired from our trip from Mexico city and went straight to Rio dulce it was easy for us to fall a sleep Also pick up (collectivo/public boat) from the hotel to Livingstone and other river lodges

This was consistently the best food we had during our whole stay in Guatemala. The common lodge was so homey and inviting. We loved hearing the rain on our tin roof in our building. Bonus: The ferry to Livingston left directly from the Hotel pier. It was wonderful.

Staff were so friendly and helpful. Pool was refreshing- needs a paint but I believe this is about to happen. Room was simple but comfortable. Good shower with hot water. Beds were very comfy. Lovely calm atmosphere. Restaurant and pool look out over the river. Dinner at restaurant was a bit pricey but good quality. Feels safe with a security gate and a long driveway off the main road.

Hotel La Casa Rosada
The place is located right at the shore with a pier going into the water, easy to be dropped off with the shuttle boat or get in for a tour. It has a beautiful view over the water and has seating inside and outside. Some of the facilities are a it outdated, but value for money it was perfect. Kitchen staff provides delicious meals, and Luiz is super friendly and goes beyond providing anything you want or ask for.

If you are into nature, this place was amazing! They offer lots of extra things to do, hiking, kayaking trip, etc. There were so many wildlife opportunities including turtles, crocodiles, snakes, birds, monkeys..so much more! The accommodations were excellent and the food was tasty!!

Finca Tatin is a beautiful place to stay! It feels like you’re in the middle of the jungle but you’re also right next to the river. They have family dinners every night which is a good time to meet new people and the staff are soooooo nice!
