Everything about the suite was excellent as advertised. Very spacious and super clean rooms. 5 min drive to the Thira centre. Both Dior and Hina were incredibly welcoming and supportive throughout our stay. The jacuzzi was an ideal spot to capture the sunrise in the morning. Looking forward to visiting again.

the staff are the best I’ve ever come across and I travel a lot for work. They could not be more helpful. Because our flights were delayed and we arrived at 2am, they arranged for some sandwiches to be available to us without our asking. It was a lovely gesture. The food was amazing. We had the full board option, and the food was better quality than most local restaurants. With meat and fish options everyday, with sushi on Wednesdays. Part of the full board is alcohol. while booking.com and the hotel website states: 2 wine, 2 cocktails, and 4 beers per person per day, this is actually just a suggestion. The drinks are point based and so you could have 12 beers, or 10 cocktails per person per day. We had a room facing the pool and sea, which had a spa bath (not the massive jacuzzi option) and It was excellent.

It was our second stay at Ray hotel, we enjoyed the privacy of villa with our own terrace and pool, tasty breakfasts and dinners and hospitality of the staff. We will definitely come back next year (if not sooner.. 🙂)

The staff were very friendly. Great location. Dived in the sea. Had nice cocktails at night surrounded by the sound of soft live music enjoying the Seaview. Nice restaurants and supermarket nearby if needed something different. Clean and minimalistic style. Big enough room for 2. Decent breakfast.

we had breakfast and diner during our 5 day stay there. All of them were amazingly varied, tasty and of the highest quality. Unfortunately, it was too cold to use the pool, pool bar and pool beds, but they looked as if they were brochure photos. The beach setup was also excellent, all new furniture, walkways and a small beach cafe. You could not ask for more helpful, friendly and well-organised staff. The room wasn't very big, but was well equipped and was compensated by a good size terrace with two sun beds. This was a very memorable stay, in the good sense.👍

Lovely lovely place. This was honestly one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. The room we stayed at had sea views and we had a private pool. Breakfast is served in the room and is very abundant. Very good selection as well. What I would have done is provide a choice in order to avoid waste. The design of the hotel was top notch- indoor room lighting, bed was very comfortable, bathroom design very particular and cool.

    The location of the hotel with a view of the Caldera is extremely excellent. Picturesque and amazing views from the rooms! Responsive, polite, attentive excellent staff, both at the reception, and in the restaurant and throughout the hotel. They meet with a smile and offer cool drinks to quench their thirst. They help in solving any issues. The rooms are spacious, bright and clean. The bathrooms are clean and have very nice and high-quality hygiene and body care products! Breakfasts are very tasty and filling! Thank the chef! Also, all hotel guests receive a compliment from the hotel (delicious drinks). There is an opportunity to order a dinner, and even a romantic one, in the room or on the terrace of the new restaurant with beautiful views of the sea, the island itself and the volcano, watching the incredible colors of the sunset! Thank you to the hotel administration and staff for their professionalism and comfort, courtesy and good attitude!

    This was our first holiday as a family of three and we wanted it to be absolutely incredible. And guess what? It was everything we hoped it would be! Hotel is really luxury, even with 4⭐️, staff is amazing (we love you Barbara, Oleg will miss you), food is great. It is fairly big but has smaller number of rooms so even with full capacity - not crowded. Everything is clean and the atmosphere is super relaxed. If you’re travelling with a walking baby/toddler - there are not that many places it can hit its head so, very baby friendly! 😂

    Just great experience, the hotel is very well maintained and clean, staff is super friendly and helpful. Breakfast is with good enough choice of local products and also very tasty. View from the room directly to the charming small port of Loutra, in my opinion best place on the island. Although Loutra is the most to the north village on the island, it is still close to visit all the island's worth to visit places. What else could you wish from Kythnos?!

    The old decor fits the location so well. The garden is also beautiful. It was a joy to have breakfast there every morning (and befriend the cats).     Loved exploring different parts everyday. Just walking along the harbour and picking a restaurant for a meal. Exploring the streets in the Old Town and visiting all the shops. We just walked everywhere and loved every minute of the holiday. Will definitely return.

    Great island.

    Great island. Beautiful and great for clubs and beach walking. However. Very expensive and the drivers charge either 40 or 50 euros even if you go 1 mile. Basically fixed fee. No other options. They will squeeze your budget there. Kind of an indirect tourist fee. But the people are very nice and all speak great English. But it’s a money pit. Be careful.

    Noisy dirty and totally tourist trap. What used to be a charming and cultural rich town has sold its soul to mass tourism. There is rubbish everywhere, plenty of shops that ONLY sell touristic items. There’s nothing authentic left here. Even restaurants are horrible and serve mediocre food. Compared to the rest of the island this place is not worth not even 10 minutes of your time.

    It's an amazing trip experience that combines both the sea side stuff and the full comfort of a city. You can find small beaches along the shore, and a large embankment right across the venetian port that is perfect for evening walks (it has approx.. 2,4 km in length). There are also a lot of restaurants and bars you can hop into. I would dearly recommend Peskesi, Petousis, Sir Papafigos, Parasties for food, Take five or Toucan Skybar for drinks, but there are a lot more that are waiting to be discovered. Also the museums are a must, and of course the nearby site of Knossos. Another close by attraction you shouldn't miss is the Cretaquarium.

    Fira is a great place to stay in Santorini if you don’t have a car and it’s very central. From Fira you can get the local buses at a very cheap price to move around the Island and go to Oia and the beaches, it also has a cable car that you can go with it down to the old port of Fira. Fira has lots of shops, cafes and restaurants and great views with beautiful sunset. Hotels are more affordable to get than Oia.

    Amazing Resort and extensive facilities on site. Staff are amazing. Also one of the best mani/pedi I ever had at the salon. Resort is about 30 minutes from airport, and would say for a 5* Europe resort, this lives up to expectation, but don't compare to a 5* Caribbean or Mexico Resort, so bear that in mind. We stayed at the Ocean view room which had spectacular views. The Rocky beach was just fantastic with the lounges and beds, and considering how busy this resort is, never noticed it and never felt overcrowded, and you never had to reserve benches or lounges by the beach or pool, there was more than enough to go round and even more spare. A la Carte restaurants that were amazing and my favourites are Umi (Sushi), Azzuro (Italian), Thalassa for breakfast & lunch, Poseidon. A real let down of the restaurants was Nami, only delicious items were the Starters. Staff at this resort were fantastic overall, but special thanks to the following: Anastasi, Konstantina, Angelina, Ritsa and Lucas.

    My evaluation is strongly influenced by the period when we visited the island – August. Therefore, I do not recommend visiting the island in August, as it is extremely overcrowded. Also, the steep streets and narrow access alleys become even more difficult to navigate during this time of year, and you will need to fully rely on your driving skills, often pushing your car to its limits. We missed some of the island’s attractions because of these inconveniences. That being said, the island has many beautiful places to see and experience – beaches, breathtaking views, tavernas, welcoming people, and much more. I recommend visiting the island in September, ideally for 5–10 days, and exploring the most popular places early in the morning. This way, you will get the best of what the island has to offer.

    We enjoyed visiting St.

    We enjoyed visiting St. George (Agios Georgios) Beach, which has shallow waters for young children Also, the Temple of Apollo was very nearby and has some amazing views. Our favourite part was taking a walk to the Castle (Kastro) in the Old Town . It's beautiful narrow cobbled streets with quaint shops along the way lead you to the breathtaking views when you reach the top. Remember to take a moment to absorb the views from this height. It's worth every moment. There are also boat trips you can take from the harbour - with day trips to Santorini or Mykonos daily.

    Best place to stay when in Crete if you are looking for a mix of relaxation at the beach and exploring the island. Great sandy beaches, cool beach bars, beautiful old town filled with vibrant clubs and restaurants. The town is ideally placed so that you can rent a car, pay for an excursion or even use public transport (which is beautufly organised) to explore wild beaches but Chania and Heraklion as well.

    The most outstanding experience of Kos town was the people.

    The most outstanding experience of Kos town was the people. Everywhere we went we met kind, friendly and generous people. Everything in Kos town is within walking distance from the beach to the old town. Numerous restaurants cater for every need from a simple Gyros to exceptional seafood dishes.
