A comfortable and relaxed hotel which is dog friendly. The staff were very helpful and welcoming and they organised a dog friendly restaurant booking. Parking was really easy, secure and discounted for the hotel. Location was perfect to explore Clermont-Ferrand. Highly recommend

It's rare to find a hotel like this today. Old fashioned courtesy in a magnificent old building tastefully restored. The owner who showed me to my table for dinner had time to talk about his establishment with enthusiasm and pride. Rightly deserved. The breakfast was an imaginative treat to local produce. A wonderful start to the day.

Great stay, very charming hotel, surrounded by nature, close to one of the most beautiful villages in France (Conques-en-Rouergue). The restaurant is just fantastic. The cuisine from Emilie and Thomas deserves the honors by the quality and freshness of the ingredients, the creativity, the presentation of the plates. We just loved it !!!     It is absolutely beautiful and we enjoyed the swim in the natural swimming pool with frogs and tadpoles. Everything is gorgeous the hosts are lovely and they only have meals every second night so the night we got there he made for us a platter which was a full meal in itself. It's really beautiful you need a car to get there but highly recommend it

    Clermont-Ferrand was a really enjoyable place to visit. I especially liked how the city blends natural beauty with a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. Getting around the city was pretty straightforward. When it came to food, we mostly tried local spots we came across while walking around, and overall, the food scene felt very authentic and accessible. There were also lots of parks and open spaces where he could run around and play. Overall, it’s a great city for a relaxed family trip with a good mix of nature, culture, and kid-friendly activities.

    So refined, so relaxing so utterly charming. In some ways Vichy is a throwback to different generation yet offers so much to the modern traveller- a beautiful lake to walk or cycle around, great wine bars and restaurants from top end Michelin starred to welcoming cafes.

I made 3 separate booking .You have to buy your own Toilet paper .room cleaning is extra charge .If I booked 3 times in separate occasions they must be doing the bed and give the cleaned room to me no matter its same room . I paid full price .There was a bug at the window and Room220 is right at the road where Tram runs 24 hours almost .Christina is very rude so be firm with her .The rest of girls are really nice and speaks some English.Christina does not know English at all .She should not be working at a hotel where mostly Foreigners stays .

    Some really good restaurants but you need to book in advance as they all seemed to be busy in the evenings. Parking is quite good in the evenings but takes a bit of time finding a space during the day.

    Issoire is an ideal overnight stop when travelling from the UK to Spain and vice versa. The A75 from Clermont Ferrand to Beziers is the best road I ever travel on -- relatively quiet, especially at night, lovely scenery and a direct route to the Med. Also, the only toll is on the magnificent Millau Bridge, but that is avoidable by going through the town. Central Issoire, where there is a good choice of accommodation, is only a half mile from Junction 13.

    We had been there before but only for a single night. We love the town, the hotel, the atmosphere. We ate breakfast in the hotel which was incredible and ate out for other meals (not available in out hotel). Bit of a nuisance to search for other places to eat - the month was September and quite a few places were closed. The Cafe de Paris was a reliable stop gap.

    Very nice town with easy access to beautiful countryside. Plan eating out carefully this time of year (October) as many restaurants etc have limited opening times. Most museums and attractions etc are closed this time of year but the walks are stunning.

    Sorry to say that it took us 30 to 40 mins to check in as the computer was not working I had to press the button for help twice don't want this at check in it was a hot day ant the air conditioning did not work part was broken off any time we go away we always look for b&b hotel not sure anymore
