I recently stayed at Lazur Pool Apartment in Hurghada and was very pleased with my choice. The apartment was clean, modernly furnished and had everything you need for a comfortable stay - a kitchenette, air conditioning, a comfortable bed and a balcony. There is also a swimming pool where you can relax. The pool was clean, and the area was quiet and well-maintained, perfect for a family or couple vacation. Communication with the hosts was smooth - they answered all questions and helped to find their way around the place. The apartments are conveniently located - close to the beach, shops and restaurants. I recommend this place to anyone looking for good value for money in Hurghada!

I had a fantastic experience at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive to every detail. Check-in was smooth and efficient, and I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and comfort of my room. The room was spacious and equipped with everything I needed. I also appreciated the on-site amenities, including the 5 à la carte restaurants which added a lot to the overall experience. I had an incredible stay at this hotel! The owner was exceptionally friendly and went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Their knowledge of the local area was outstanding, providing fantastic recommendations for places to visit and dine. The room was spacious, with a comfortable bed that made for a great night’s sleep. The location couldn’t have been better—just a short walk to both the beach and the city center. It was the perfect base for exploring the area.     It was our very first time at the Royal Makadi Sunrise Resort and the experience has simply been exceptional. It started with the reservation and the communication with the hotel has been very reactive and fluide. Our requests for the room was respected and the entire team is super efficient to make the check in super fast. The entire complex is very well managed. The team (reception, restaurant, beach, maintenance etc...) is super friendly and customer oriented. To be frank this is not the style we were used to in Egypt, and it was really impressive. Choice of restaurant (buffet or à la carte) is really great. Unique (tiny) comment -> the online booking system for the restaurant is working randomly but customer service was always ready to help. To be super "peaky", tennis courts may open a bit earlier than 8 AM. When things are easy, no need to make them complicated -> we are super happy with our stay and are clearly envisaging to come back in the near future.

    Lovely place, with a stunning view! The staff were great and extremely courteous and helpful. All inclusive was worth it - very good meals from breakfast through to dinner; and the hotel had various activities going on during the day. Various pools to choose from, so that was quite helpful when one felt slightly packed. Room was amazing - stunning view, was spotless and had no issues whatsoever; definitely recommend.

    My favourite hotel in Sahl Hasheesh, it is the only one that truly deserves 5 stars, the beach is beautiful, stuff incredibly helpful and food always delicious - make sure to try "catch of the day" it was my must everyday either for lunch, dinner or both! It was my third stay here and surely not the last one.

    "I did not leave the grounds of the Iberotel Costa Marès. There are already so many wonderful things to do like snorkeling, diving, massages and especially the many activities offered by Captain Mahmoud's extraordinary team and the high quality shows performed in the evening. All the staff are adorable, attentive, attentive both on the beach and by the pool as well as in the various restaurants, not to mention the maintenance staff and gardeners, the cooks, the waiters (mention special for Ahzem from the main restaurant, Abd Allah at the pool restaurant, Mostafa who is part of Mahmoud's team, Hod Hod on the beach and many others of whom I don't really know the spelling of their first name. are all very courageous, with a sense of humor and kindness like I have rarely seen. Everything is put in place so that you only want to do one thing... come back as quickly as possible."

    The Alaya hotel guests has a private beach area at Coraya bay, my husband and I were given a lift there by a golf cart. Alaya staff greeted us at the beach area ,attending to our needs. providing beach chairs, umbrella and bar service . The swimming are is great, water is clean and warm. Snorkeling and scuba diving is available. I did snorkel and it was a great experience.

    Very quiet town, simple and the sea is amazing. You can swim anywhere. No so much facilities ( food places, supermarkets,..) and pharmacies located around hotels. Weather is hot, limited gas stations and road is not preferable to be taken at night.

    Nice place to stay for one week if the weather is OK. Very good place for snorkeling or you can watch coral reef directly in the harbor without being wet. Just bring slice of bead and you will see a lot.

    I love Marsa Alam and Abu Dabab most, as far as the Red Sea...

    I love Marsa Alam and Abu Dabab most, as far as the Red Sea goes. My favourite place of all time is the Concorde Moreen Hotel, with the Hilton coming a strong second. We only ate at the hotels, because our time was limited. I used the taxi service offered online by Booking.com, which I found to be very efficient and reasonable. But I am also a seasoned traveller in Egypt and do not find it difficult to negotiate with taxi drivers. (It can be very useful to ask Chat GPT first what an average trip should cost you, if you are unsure, and then use that as a guideline for your negotiations.) It's an amazing experience to go out on a boat, but picking the right one can make the difference. I will be leaving my review on our experience separately (as it warrants a whole story on its own :))

    The sea was beautiful.

    The sea was beautiful. Unfortunately strong winds kept me from going into the sea. We stayed mostly in the lagoons. There was no access to sea from the beach, only from the pier. The life guards were good and attentive.

    Very nice and friendly locals! Not many tourists, no aggressive salesmen. The city is not rich, so expect some garbage lying around. Prices are generally very low, not adjusted for tourists (except at nearby hotels). We found only a few restaurants, but many fastfood places.

I highly recommend staying at Jaz Hotels or Titanic Royal — both provide excellent service and memorable experiences. However, I strongly advise avoiding Titanic Resort & Aqua Park. Unfortunately, the service there was well below expectations.
