Spitzhaus is simply wonderful! Beautiful on the outside and the inside, with very friendly and helpful staff and owners. You can really tell this is a family owned and run business. The food Ia exquisite, the wines are local and so well chosen. The atmosphere is relaxed and elegant. The rooms spacious and comfortable. We loved this place and will be back!

Excellent 4-night stay at Jägerheim Löbsal. From the start, the warm, efficient check-in and genuinely hospitable host made me feel welcome. The property’s beautiful garden with a small pond was a real highlight and the perfect spot to unwind in the evening. The location is peaceful and rural, yet Meissen and the surrounding vineyards are within easy reach, so it works both as a serene retreat and a practical base. Great value for money—I’d happily return and highly recommend.

    Excellent room and excellent hotel, which is located on the central square of Dresden, in its very historical center. Special thanks to the guys from the reception, I have not seen such attention to guests for a long time! We were even given the opportunity to look at other options for available rooms and choose the one that we liked more. Very fast check-in. The room is very spacious, the bathroom is large and comfortable, the toilet room is separate from the bathroom in the same room. The room has a coffee machine and capsules for making coffee, which is very convenient and cheap (the cost of 1 capsule is 1 euro). Comfortable bed, clean linen and comfortable pillows. Nicely decorated room with new furniture, clean. Bathrobe and slippers are provided without any problems upon request from the reception manager. Decent room at an adequate price and in the historical center of Dresden. My friends and I were satisfied with our stay there! Thank you hotel staff and good luck!

    Excellent tram and local train networks. Day tickets are good value (discount for ages 60+) but beware the zonal boundaries. City centre particularly attractive when fewer people around - early morning and dusk. Steam paddle boats are magnificent.

    It is a good spot between Dresden and Meißen.

    It is a good spot between Dresden and Meißen. You can get by train to both of them or even to the Sachsische Sweiz (Bad Schandau etc.). Also the Moritzburg castle and its forests is reachable by a steam train (it is worse with buses, better to use car otherwise). There are vineyards everywhere and many small castles or big villas. There is plenty of shopping facilities all around Radebeul and other towns. Plus some nice small villages like Kötzschenbröda.

    Beautiful castle and nice walking to the lighthouse on the lake. The town is small with beautifull "allee" to the castle. No problem with parking. There are some good restaurants and everything is close. Also Missen is close and nice to visit.

    Good place for travel holidays if you want to see Dresden and Schlosserland places (Konigstein, Bastei Bruecke etc). Close to train station, but trains in Germany are expensive. Shops are present in Heidenau aswell.
