- From £97.95 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 44 reviewsThis is the coziest and most unusual place my husband and I've been to. The decor of the hotel transports you back to the past, and that's exactly what you need if you're tired of modern bustling city life. We felt at home sitting around the fire, listening to music and playing chess. The owner is such a nice person. He's always there to talk to and help you, but he also leaves you alone to let you rest. In the morning, he made us breakfast, and I'd never eaten such a delicious hotel breakfast before. The whole experience was far beyond our expectations.Guest review byNataliiaCanada
- From £84.44 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.5Good - What previous guests thought, 453 reviewsVery good location, walking distance to town and less than a 5 minute drive from the Elora gorge. There is a casino too in the same area. The staff were friendly and helpful to suggest places of interest. A complimentary breakfast snack was good and the room was clean. Overall a very comfortable stay!Guest review byK.MMCanada

Staff was welcoming and helpful. This hotel exceeded our expectations at every turn.Guest review byLorraineCanada

Easy, well lit entry. Contact was quick to respond. Very private, extremely clean and welcoming. Little extras, water bottles available, lovely table set up, extra blankets really available. Bathroom very clean with heated floor.(room was cold when we arrived, but heated up using the gas fireplace and adjusting thermostat) Really enjoyed our stay! Highly recommend, will return.Guest review byLesiaCanada - 10.0
Ours was a very short stop.
Ours was a very short stop. This town is known for excellence in theatre but has much more to offer with a beautiful downtown and a variety of restaurants, shops, boutiques. We recommend you come to enjoy any of the many Theatres and stay longer to experience its cultured and sophisticated atmosphere and ambience.Guest review bySylvia - 10.0

Visited a new restaurant called Ward One Smokehouse & Brewery and it was great to say the least. The hotel I stayed at is close to gas stations, grocery store, Tim's restaurants. I come for the Ribfests in the summer, but there's places to go in winterGuest review byJamieCanada - 8.0
St. Jacob's is a gem.
St. Jacob's is a gem. We prefer visiting weekdays when it's quieter. Weekends can be pretty crowded. If you're interested in going to the market, check days and hours because they are not open every day. Lot's of great places to eat and drink. Something for everyone really.Guest review byMaryanne - 10.0

Very nice village and coast, we actually liked it better than Goderich (even if Goderich is a super nice town too) Main street is filled with friendly and nice places to hang out, eat and drink, the views of the lake are amazing, the marina is a great place to have a morning coffeeGuest review byMalloryUnited States - 8.0

It’s an older (perhaps built in 1970s) 2-floor property in a very small town along the highway between Kitchener And Stratford Ontario. As such their check in desk is stated to close at 11 pm so it is not suitable for people arriving late. The property is kept very clean and it provides good basic accommodations about 15 minutes drive from Stratford.Guest review byDavidCanada - 10.0

The town's commitment with regards to sports and recreation facilities including the incredible baseball fields, the water park at the quarry and the pathway is inspiring. The downtown beautification efforts just lends to the visual that tourists get when entering the area is something you should be very proud of.Guest review byDu Vall
