- From £96.84 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Superb - What previous guests thought, 155 reviewsWe planned a 3 week's tour to Rockies this August. Unfortunately Japer caught fire just before we reached. We were to stay for 6 nights at Jasper which we had to replace. We replaced 3 nights' stay by booking at Kanata. It was a last minute decision. As I did not search more I was a bit skeptical about the property but on reaching we were so very pleased with the amenities, staff, surroundings...everything. Special thanks to Anmol, a guy at restaurant who not only gave us good information but also served us with very tasty Samosas...!!Guest review byNinaIndia
- From £84.91 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.4Superb - What previous guests thought, 56 reviewsIt is very cozy. It is like being at an energetic grandma's house! So much effort has gone into them sharing their home and their dream. It can't be easy but they don't seem to struggle, allowing it to feel naturally comfortable. Anne is an exceptional cook, who is also very accommodating, accepting it as a new and exciting challenge! Ken is witty and fun if you dare to try and win him over. Anne went above and beyond for us and we will be sure to stop even if passing through, as though we are saying hello to family!Guest review byTomCanada

The location, the vibe, the building, room, breakfast and of course the hosts Dawn and Mark are just good people. Almost stayed in air bnb.. so glad we didn't!Guest review byrichCanada

Lovely town with friendly people BUT hardly any places were open on a Monday morning. It was difficult to find an open restaurant as they all seem to chose Monday to be closed. Kudos to Cherry on Top coffee shop for being open and wonderful!Guest review byAnonymousCanada - 10.0
a quaint little town rich in mining history.
a quaint little town rich in mining history. Close to many things to explore from Frank Slide to the Crowsnest Museum. Lots of hiking, and lots of interesting abandoned historical buildings and sites. We loved Country Encounters B&B and would highly recommend it.Guest review byMELANIECanada - 8.0

Coleman, for us, has just been a good place to break a journey from central BC into Alberta. We have not explored its possibilities, but the location on the edge of the Rockies is beautiful, and the town has some convenient restaurants and nearby recreational facilities.Guest review byRebeccaCanada - 10.0

Coleman is 15-20 minutes in all directions from fantastic lakes and hiking. Sparsely populated, which I seek. Blairmore is only a few minutes away on the highway, and between the 2 towns one can find all services and food choices. The Crowsnest past was built on coal mining. There are many interpretive areas and signs that explain the history. Leitch Collieries was informative and historically interesting.Guest review byDawnCanada
