First of all, we would like to thank Georgia for her very accommodating nature, and she genuinely provides the extra mile due to the unforeseen circumstances caused by the Ferry.
The Accommodation is a three bedroom house located in Kingscote. Spacious, cozy, comfortable and clean.
The kitchen is big with a lot of pots of different sizes, they provided washing machine liquid detergent.
the view was amazing because the villa is located close to the sea.
will definitely go back to this accommodation next time. 10/10
Was given an ocean facing room with a nice balcony with an awesome view and we really enjoyed the Kangaroo Island Seafront Hotel experience.Very friendly helpful staff checked us in,told us about the best eating places around and helped us get settled down in a most comfortable room wz all the facilities.
The location is amazing, if you are seeking a quiet getaway but still close to shops etc. KI cabins is a good spot. Surrounded by a beautiful countryside atmosphere and friendly 🦘

It's a lovely beach! Post card quality all the way.
It's a lovely beach! Post card quality all the way. Only shame is people are allowed to drive on it, risking the precious wildlife and environment.
No shops in Emu bay, but there is a small beachside cafe open select days/ times in summer. About 15mins drive from Kingscote.

Millpond’s location in a quiet street in Penneshaw just minutes from the ferry terminal was our pick. It met our requirements for a quiet holiday by the sea. The hosts - always responsive - evidently took pains to anticipate the needs of guests - we didn’t lack for anything, from the very well-equipped kitchen to comfortable living, dining rooms and bedrooms. Stay here if you’re looking to recharge and refresh.

All the local sites are amazing.
All the local sites are amazing. My favourite was Cape de Couedic and Admirals Arch. The development and natural scenery and spectacular, seascape views are outstanding and most of it is accessible for wheelchairs with quality board walking. I Highly recommend a visit to Kangaroo Island. An amazing and challenging level 3 hike to Snake Lagoon is well worth the effort to the Beach. Lovely Cafe for lunch at Stokes Bay and nice little walk to the ⛱️ beach. Excellent asphalt roads make easy access to most sites. 👏

I stayed for 4 days and I could have stayed forever! The most beautiful, pristine place I have ever been to! The wildlife, bird life and scenery was so beautiful! The only noise I heard were all the birds singing and the gentle waves….stunning

Close to the sea. 10 minute drive to Penneshaw to see Fairy Penguins. Half hour drive to Bee Hive tour & more beachside in this township. Think it was Northcote. There was a supermarket & two fish & chip places - one where you could get petrol. Nice little town.

We stayed 3 nights, after staying our first night in Kingscote after a late ferry trip from the mainland. . The cabin is situated adjacent to the farmhouse driveway, the cabin's gate was closed, so when we arrived we drove to the farmhouse but nobody welcomed us so I had to call the owner for instructions.
The cabin appears to be almost new so the facilities are excellent. We dined once at the Parndarna Hotel and had a good pub meal.
Parndarna is centrally located with bitumen roads to most tourist destinations, and we found that worked well for us.

We thoroughly enjoyed the wild life around us , feeding the kangaroos nightly .. very peaceful and relaxing ..
however we feel there should’ve been tea/coffee sugar sachets and long life milk on arrival as there aren’t any shops close by .. so after long trip over really looking forward to a coffee .. also washing up liquid was only enough for 1 day .. toilet paper only 2 rolls ( not enough for our 7 day stay )
Went to cook on the bbq , no tongs or scraper . However we did ring owner and he was more then happy to bring us tongs ( but that’s not the point ) all these things are basics in a budget accommodation . stayed in plenty others ..
and the bed was very hard but that is too be expected in most cases . Hope these issues get resolved as the location is great .

Perfect location for relaxing and watching the world go by. Watching the Roos go about their business while relaxing on the deck was pure bliss. We even watched a dolphin fish in the shallows one morning while enjoying.

Kangaroo Island is big and you need transport to see all of the sites and attractions. Kingscote is reasonably central to everything but is 45 minutes drive from the ferry terminal. We covered most of the main tourist sites, though we were there in winter and some businesses were closed. We liked the relaxed pace and the quiet roads.
On average, 3-star hotels on Kangaroo Island cost £120 per night, and 4-star hotels on Kangaroo Island are £102 per night. If you're looking for something really special, a 5-star hotel on Kangaroo Island can on average be found for £315 per night (based on Booking.com prices).
The average price per night for a 3-star hotel on Kangaroo Island this weekend is £170 or, for a 4-star hotel, £98. Looking for something even fancier? 5-star hotels on Kangaroo Island for this weekend cost on average around £449 per night (based on Booking.com prices).
