- From £214.02 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 306 reviewsWe absolutely loved everything about the apartment and the amenities! We traveled with two kids and a dog, and everything was super comfortable — spacious rooms, good mattresses, and a large balcony with a gorgeous view. The bathroom was big and included a bathtub, which was a great bonus. The apartment is just a minute’s walk from the main hotel, where guests can access the spa and wellness facilities. For added convenience, there was also a washing machine and dryer available for our use. The spa, with its stunning view, was amazing — plenty of options and quiet relaxation rooms. During our stay, there were almost no other guests using the spa, so we had a truly relaxing experience. The indoor swimming pool was perfect for any weather. There’s also a water park very close to the hotel, which is great for families. A huge thank you to the staff — we arrived late (after the regular check-in time), and the owner kindly waited for us, welcomed us personally, and allowed us to complete the formal check-in the next day. We really appreciated this warm hospitality.Guest review byEugeniaGermany

I seriously cannot think of any other time I stayed in a hotel and I was this satisfied with the entire experience, some 5 star hotels don't even stand a chance next to Wagnermigl. Thank you to the owners for making our first visit to Kuchl and Salzburg region memorable and just great. We will definitely come again.Guest review byMoustafaSlovakia

Golling is a long established small town on the Salzach river and a good base for exploring Salzburg and the nearby hills / mountains. Hotels are in the small town centre plus camping and camper van facilities nearby. Rail travel to Salzburg and on buses in Salzburg is free for holders of the Tourist Card issued without further charge to people staying at Golling hotels, This facility has recently been extended to other buses and trains over a wider area, Golling Waterfall and the canyon (Klamm) on the Salzach river attract visitors, There is a Water Park close to Golling.Guest review byDavidUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Nice old town to walk around.
Nice old town to walk around. Have some nice restaurants like the Indian restaura, Namaste. Very authentic Indian food with good service and atmosphere. Another restaurant is Genusskramerei. This restaurant has a small but exclusive menu. Upmarket.Guest review byReneSingapore - 10.0
What were your favourite places there?
What were your favourite places there? The Sommerrodelbahn, The Cable Car, The Postalm Panoramastrasse and the drive through Fischbach. What we highly recommend is a nice walk through the town and surrounding places itself!! This is a very very pretty place. Where did you eat? We cooked ourselves. However, we bought groceries at the Spar market in the town. Is it easy to get around Abtenau? Yes. The town is very accessible. We, however, did not use the public transport. What would you avoid on your next visit? Nothing really. The place offers a lot of things to a tourist!Guest review byAjithIndia - 10.0

I used to visit Alpen in Austria many times in various places; the big centres are totally full of people during the season. This is the reason why I decided myself for Annaberg - it's very nice and quiet place with not too many people, even the surroundings are prefect.Guest review byMichaelCzech Republic - 10.0
Recommendation:
Recommendation: For kids - Geister Wald (Ghost forest) - 4,5km long hike with fun activities for kids. Our kids loved them. Just to be aware - you need to pick up from the info center a map where kids could get stamps and also you need 2euro coin to get a wooden ball from the machine you can find just at the start of the hike. Small store - very helpful staff, all the basics you need you find there Waterpark - great nature pool to chill with kidsGuest review byRenata KnittelovaCzech Republic - 10.0

This is a small, but modern (albeit with mostly traditional architecture) village in the Salzach River valley south of Salzburg. It is a quiet friendly place, not appropriate for big-time skiing, but great for walks and hikes in te surrounding country-side.Guest review byPhilipUnited States - 10.0

There's one restaurant in town but the owner is very helpful and it's right across the street. There are many grocery stores in the local towns down below so we brought food to the Gasthof for dinner. The town is great for riding and hiking.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0

Beautiful small down town with typical Austrian arhitecture, murrals on amost eash builiding. We were in transit so one more days to explore the surronding would be great. Free downtown parking. The lady in info center were more than helpful and nice, she even opened the already locked info center door to give us brochures. We didn't have time so visit mini burg in very center, have seen it from outside only.Guest review byLove to travelCroatia - 8.0
A must-see for those interested in Celts and Mining.
A must-see for those interested in Celts and Mining. The "Salzbergwerk Dürrnberg" is much much more interesting, than the overfamous "Salzbergwerk Hallstatt". Celtic Museum in Hallein ist really of value. The town itself has a very limited number of places to dine. Decent train connection to Salzburg, savin You a lot of money and a most boring view of Salzburg after 5 p.m.Guest review byRobertAustria - 10.0
This is lovely village in both winter and summer.
This is lovely village in both winter and summer. Beautifully unspoilt by no big touring companies taking over, and the tourist accomodation is predominantly private. It has its own lift into the Dachstein West area, and in the summer there are a multitude of hiking paths to follow.Guest review byTaraUnited Kingdom
