- From £325.56 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 45 reviewsThis hotel is a true sanctuary of tranquility and luxury, perfectly situated with breathtaking views of the surrounding Alps. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warmth and professionalism of the staff. Every member of the team was attentive, kind, and dedicated to ensuring my stay was as comfortable as possible. Their genuine hospitality made me feel incredibly welcome and valued. The wellness facilities are simply outstanding. The spa area offers a serene atmosphere, with a stunning pool, a variety of saunas, and relaxation zones that are perfect for unwinding after a day spent exploring. Every detail in the wellness area is thoughtfully designed to enhance the experience of peace and rejuvenation. My room was spacious, tastefully decorated, and exceptionally comfortable. The modern yet cozy design, combined with panoramic views of the snow-covered Alps, created a dreamy retreat. The quiet and calm ambiance allowed me to fully relax and recharge. The hotel restaurant was an absolute highlight of my stay. Each meal was a delightful experience, from breakfast filled with fresh, local specialties to creative and beautifully presented dinners. The quality of the food and the attention to detail in every dish were truly remarkable. Staying at Bichlhof was more than just a holiday; it was a deeply enriching experience. This hotel combines luxury, nature, and comfort in the most harmonious way. I wholeheartedly recommend it and look forward to returning someday!Guest review byFidesCroatia
- From £299.72 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 1,496 reviewsWe chose this hotel for our honeymoon trip and it exceeded our expectations. They do offer a shuttle service (for a fee), but we drove a rental car from the Munich airport to the hotel and the trip took about 2 hours, but the views are picturesque which made it feel a lot shorter. Our room was in the original building (the castle), which we loved. It didn't look anything like a modern hotel room, but it was very roomy and had it's own charm and style, which you can see in one of my photos. The window photo were the views from our room. Every staff member we encountered spoke fluent English and was friendly and accommodating. We're not sure if it was typical for European hotels, but the breakfast buffet was phenomenal and there were so many great options. Breakfast was complimentary, but we did have to pay was a small tax (only a few euros each). We had dinner at the hotel two nights out of our stay and it was our favorite meals of our entire trip. The ingredients in the dishes, especially the desserts, were equal parts creative and delicious. The pool and its views were incredible. We were lucky to visit the hotel during a slow season and had the pool all to ourselves for almost an hour. We skied as part of this trip and the free ski lockers at the hotel and the shuttle to the Hahnenkammbahn lift made everything so easy. Every part of the hotel was clean and well taken care of. We would absolutely come back to this hotel to celebrate another milestone in the future!Guest review byJessieUnited States
- From £145.55 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 936 reviewsEverything was wonderful at the Gamshof. Room was cozy and kitchy. Lobby bar and lounge area was an extention of the room and so comfy. Staff were amazing, lovely, warm, and so nice and kind. Claudia and the young man (very tall. Apologies for not remembering names that well, but you were so sweet to me and my best friend that drove down to visit for the day). Drinks by the fire place- and very delicious wine. Wonderful and very filling breakfast. Huge variety of options. Juices, variety of coffee, eggs, bacon ,baskets of breads and buns, yougurts, boil your own eggs, cheeses and meats. Epic breakfast. What's not to like???!!! We had a great stay and highly recommend this hotel. Ski room downstairs was secure and warm! Great place for ski and boot storage Our room had a lovely view from the balcony (do yourself a favour and book a room with balcony!). Parking lot is 100 feet away, or you can park at hotel and not worry about the car. It's a 7 min walk to the main lift (gondola) or take the free RINGBUS to any lift in the are...seconds from the hotel. Seriously....stay here! We saw lots of other hotels but this one was just PERFECT. Again, thank you Claudia for such a great stay. You really left positive impression.Guest review byJenCanada
- From £264.32 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 616 reviewsWe have been coming here for over 15 years and have seen the hotel, which was always fabulous, improve on every visit. The most recent upgrade gives an even more elevated experience while keeping the cosy, friendly, alpine atmosphere. The staff are wonderful. Special thanks for waitresses Femke and Louise. Beds comfortable, rain shower exhilarating, Breakfast full of wonderful choices and a large array of tea. We love the location. 5 minutes walk into town but it is on the edge of town surrounded by trees and fields. Very peaceful. See you next year!Guest review byCarolanneSpain
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.4Superb - What previous guests thought, 515 reviewsThe hotel was in a very beautiful and quiet location, so there was no traffic or noise to spoil the amazing views. The quality of the breakfast was excellent with a vast choice and we were particularly taken with the separate rooms for cheese and breads. All staff were remarkably helpful at all times and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. I wouldn't hesitate to book this hotel another time as we enjoyed the well-equipped and large bedroom.Guest review byMelanieGreece

Kitzbuhel is primarily a winter sports resort but also attracts summer visitors. An evening band performance and afternoon childrens events in the Kurpark were welcome surprises as we had no prior knowledge they were taking place. The local (free) Tourist Card gives small price reductions on cable cars and some other attractions but, in stark contrast to neighbouring Salzburg Province, lacks rail and/or bus travel benefits. Kitzbuhel has two railway stations. We did not find a street map showing how to get to hotels at either, The rail station by the cable car is unstaffed. UK tourists were seen using the ticket machine to buy outward and return tickets, unaware that a group ticket (Einfach Raus) would have cost less. Kitzbuhel was one of 5 stops on a longer trip. It was not our favourite.Guest review byDavidUnited Kingdom - 10.0

What I like about Kitzbühel is that it is elegant and glamorous, as well as relaxing and comfortable. You don’t need to rush anywhere, everything is close by. One is pampered by the local hospitality, which is a great feeling. The Alps around Kitzbühel are also elegant and cosy, not to mention great skiing conditions, about which everyone knows.Guest review byMarinaAustria - 8.0
A beautiful location in the middle of the mountains.
A beautiful location in the middle of the mountains. We went skiing and walking in the mountains. Food and drink expensive in the town and even more expensive on the mountain. A very upmarket feeling. Definitely a playground for the rich. Designer shops everywhere. very clean town and a delight to walk around.Guest review byBredaIreland
