I was arriving on a Sunday evening, and everything turned out as well as it was advertised. The self check-in worked well, I never felt being abandoned even for a minute! The breakfast was really great and it's early availability was very convenient for me since I had to be already on my way early in the morning to arrive at my destination. The room was spacious and clean, the bed was very comfortable + the pillow was very comfortable too! You should never underestimate the value of a good-night sleep and for me a key component to this is the right pillow.

We had a wonderful time. The place was well-maintained and tastefully decorated. There were no problems at all. All the amenities and facilities were excellent, exactly as described. The staff were extremely polite and helpful. Located in a very beautiful and quiet area. The breakfast was exceptional. If we visit this place again, it will be our first choice. Really great hotel, easy self check in that took no longer than a minute, easy access to the hotel as well. The family rooms are great, our daughter truly enjoyed the bunk bed which was both very comfortable and very safe. And a very nice surprise was sauna directly in our room. Breakfast were also great.

They offer a summer card which entitles for a lot of reduced fare activities. The staff were extremely nice and willing to help. The room was tidied up every day.     Beautiful place. It's situated in quiet place right on the shore of the Wolfgangsee. We liked to walk to and from St. Wolfgang on the foothpath by the lake. Our Junior Suite had nice terrace and view to the lake. Bed was very comfortable. We also liked the way the how the breakfast was served.

    Linz is an industrial and admin centre on the (definitely not blue) Danube river . Small airport with (as at July 2025) 2 flights a week from London STN. Pedestrianised town centre with a mix of old and new architecture gives no clue that the pleasant clean town has an active steel works. No special tourist draw but a reasonable base for touring and onward travel, Large Danube cruise ships stop at Linz but most passengers are sent to Salzburg by coach and make minimal contribution to the Linz economy.

    Beautiful place to visit. Better staying overnight - get up early or go out after the day trippers have left town to appreciate the atmosphere and beauty. Go do the caves, five fingers etc during the day.

    A more beautiful peaceful vacation could not be imagined. The mountains are breathtaking. The quietness speaks to you, and I left feeling more peaceful than I have in years. We were there in May, and I understand the tourist scene in June and July is a bit busier. There is a lot to do in the village besides gazing at the scenery. Delicious eats, friendly hosts, charming souvenir shops and the ferry that goes up and down the St Wolfgangsee are some of the delights.

    Nice old town that has nice stores and good restaurants to go. I liked the Christmas decoration in the town center. Bad Ischl is a good place to stay and drive around to some other towns like Bad Ischl, St. Wolfgang, St. Gilgen, Dachstein and Badausee

    We travelled with 3 different trains from Vienna to...

    We travelled with 3 different trains from Vienna to Obertraun in order to visit Hallstat. Unfortunately, the transportation wasn't very convenient for us. One of the trains that we had arranged was late and we had to wait two more hours in order to get the last train to Obertraun. We departed from Vienna at 8:00 and we arrived to Obertraun at 15:30! Obertraun was very close to Hallstat. Hallstat is a magical place but next time I would prefer to visit it by car.

    This is merely a city for business trips or when you want to visit special events. The city and shopping opportunities are rather limited. We spent a few hours here, travelling through, but we didn't feel that we missed anything when quickly checking out the city.

    Gosau had everything we needed for a wonderful, relaxing holiday - a grocery store, multiple restaurants, beautiful views, friendly people, and many trails for hiking, biking, and walking. Additionally, Gosausee is only a short drive away. We didn't leave Gosau during our entire stay, as there were plenty of things to do, including just relaxing.

    Mondsee is a very pleasant area - very pleasant lakeside gardens and facilities. We were particularly impressed by the Post Shuttle Bus facility which was great for visitors without their own car facilities. The service provided by the Tourist Information Office was also first class.
