The location, just a few minutes from Skanderbeg Square was excellent. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was good with a lot of variety the 5th floor breakfast room had very good views. We had requested a shuttle from the airport and that went very smooth with the driver meeting us just as we came out of arrivals. And the shuttle was complimentary. While driving in, the driver, Kevin, I believe, gave us useful information about Tirana. We would definitely stay there again.

Excellent location, everything is close by walking distance, many restaurants, bars and tourist attractions in the area, wonderful attention from the staff, friendly and always open to help. Room quality it very good, everything like new, and Air conditioning worked perfect (went down to 19 degrees), I consider that this is important specially when you are traveling during summer time that outside temperature is high. If you want to book a taxi from / to the Airport, just take contact with the reception of the hotel and they will arrange it for you and price is lower than want you will find outside. Breakfast was very wonderfully, you will find a good variety of options and always get a good coffee. If you get a high floor, then you will get a wonderful view of the city. I had a good time, so I really recommend this Hotel.

    The resort is very well maintained and very clean. The check-in was quick. We were welcomed by Mary, Resarta and Raul, fantastic and kind guys who immediately gave us a warm welcome. They explained to us all the services and meal times. The rooms are spacious, equipped with all the comforts. In the bathroom you will find shampoo, shower foam, body cream, toothpaste and toothbrush, even a manicure set. There are 2 restaurants, one buffet and the other à la carte. In the buffet restaurant, you will find chef Atilla with his staff who will delight your palate. The chef is a very kind person, he welcomes all customers with a smile. The dishes are delicious and the restaurant is full of all kinds of food! Every day you will find fresh salad, variety of meat and fish, local cheeses, sweets and fruit. And then the chef creates works of art in the watermelon. He cut the watermelon peel and made one with my face. What a kind thought. Thanks again chef . The resort has a SPA too where you can relax. Included in the price of the stay there is the swimming pool, sauna and Turkish bath. Other services as massages are obviously paid. In the à la carte restaurant you can eat well and you don't spend much but the right price. The pasta is well cooked (and I'm Italian) and the pizza can be improved. The service is good, but here too you can improve and get better 🥰 Here, I had the pleasure of meeting the director Aminka, a woman! Between women we understand each other immediately! We talked a lot and she was very interested in my opinion. Listening to a customer always leads to great solutions. Thanks again to everyone, we will definitely be back.🥰🥰🥰🙏

    Really nice hotell with excellent staff the reception staff were always available and were cheerful and helpful In the morning i get helped from Orgesi ,who work with te stela tours services.. He explained and helped me how to go and travel and visit different places. And he also showed me around in the brewery. The spa is also very well and i also enjoyed a good massage treatment. Some other guest told me that they have visit a lot of hotells in albania in this are the best resort. the restaurant have q good varied menu and the Albanian people who visit the restaurant oftently was happy and celebrated birtday and so. When i was in tirana and talked with people evryone knows te stela ,so i think the hotel have a good reputation. All people on te stela resort whould like to give you a fantastic visit

    I'll be honest - I love Tirana.

    I'll be honest - I love Tirana. Even today's Tirana, which is a bit shit in comparison with what Tirana used to be. Skanderbeg Square has been ruined by ridiculous architectural decisions - so many skyscrapers! If you want to engage with Albania, you need to get out of town as we have done over the years. The old market is a great place to eat - and in years to come the museums will reopen. House of Leaves is extraordinary.

    After almost 2,000 km traveled by car in nearly 30 hours due to countless traffic jams, we managed to arrive home without other problems, but of course extremely tired—yet with beautiful memories, to which you also contributed with your kindness and the valuable advice you gave us. We learned, with your help, that Albania is a beautiful country, still in a period of reconstruction, full of wonderful and hardworking people, always ready to help you with everything they can. But perhaps the most important thing is that they have not forgotten that Romanians and Albanians have been, and still are, brothers. We are connected by both past and present. The first thing that surprised us about our host was the outstanding cleanliness we found inside the apartment. The kitchen was perfectly equipped with absolutely everything necessary, air conditioning in every room as well as in the kitchen, clean bed sheets, immaculate white towels, etc. It has happened to me to stay in luxury hotels and not find this level of perfection. About the hosts, we have only words of praise. Even before our arrival, they checked if we were all right, if anything had happened, and during our entire stay they were always there for us—at any hour—through WhatsApp and even through Mr. Nardi himself coming to the apartment in person, even though they live quite a distance away. We were pleasantly surprised that we even had free sunbeds and umbrellas on the beach. At our departure, they even offered to help us if we needed anything. Sincere congratulations to these people who once again showed us that Albanians are people with big hearts, always ready to help you as long as you respect them and come with good intentions to their country.

    Vore is well located between two main metropolitan cities in Albania. At the same time it’s a location where you can have a peace of mind. Being a small town one can not expect to have a metropolitan city has to offer but there is enough of what someone would need on daily bases.

    A quiet village location.

    A quiet village location. The pizza/dining place almost next door was great value for money although the hotel restaurant served lovely meals too. Small shop nearby where you can purchase everything you need. The locals were very friendly and helpful. Not busy but prefer to feel as though I am in the country where I am staying so this suited me. Lovely runs in the morning and not too far away is a small island located by a wooden pier. You pay 10Euros to get on to it but it is a slice of heaven with a small eatery where you can get food and drinks. If I had been there longer I would have done one of the boat trips.

    Tirana is a very Western-oriented city.

    Tirana is a very Western-oriented city. Many government buildings fly both the Albanian and European flags. This is interesting because Albania is a candidate for EU membership. Tirana's Great Park, with its artificial lake, is a green oasis, perfect for strolling. Directly on the lake is the wonderful Mullixhiu Restaurant, a very charming establishment. It's particularly exciting to rediscover Albanian cuisine there: Mediterranean, down-to-earth, delicious, and creatively interpreted. Overall, Tirana is a manageable, lively city where many things are still relatively affordable. I can't say much about the nightlife. Unfortunately, the National Museum was closed for renovations. I was in Tirana in August, when it was already quite hot. I was impressed by the city's atmosphere. I believe there's much more to discover in the country, for example, the port city of Durrës. For those who enjoy scenic views or hiking, Albania is certainly a dream country. Discovering culinary experiences makes a vacation in Tirana particularly appealing. It's important to reiterate that Albania is still a very affordable country. I had the impression that Tirana was a safe, clean, and friendly city with friendly people.

    Too much garbage on the streets. No big seaside walk (existing one is separated from the sea, cannot see). Lot of constructions, and some buildings are abandoned. 7 euro per person for the beach (formally for umbrella? or per person? or per bed under umbrella? absolutely no info, no sign). This is cheaper than Spain/Italy/Croatia but the sea shore is not cleaned from algae. The sand is not cleaned. I would agree to 3-5 euro, or 15 for the family. Groceries, takeouts and cafeterias are mostly affordable and good. Fresh fruit street vendors are working long hours, I appreciate this. Night life exists, IMO lacks some relaxation, I don't know why. Generally lack of information is really a barrier -- for example prices are often not written, people speak Italian so I decided not to put effort to buy something. There was a feeling that different tourists can get different prices, and that's not fair, Please note Google street views from 2016-2019 are VERY OLD, now in 2025 much of Golem / Robit is seriously rebuilt and Google did not update. They don't have good address system so it is hard to explain what I recommend, but let's try: on Rruga Quemal 2504 (?) there is "Traditional restorant" / "I love albanian food" near SPAR, the food is great.

    We ate in Wood Flavour because it had one of the best ratings. This was well deserved as Dennis our host recommended the menu, kept us amused and gave us Raki lessons! He made the evening, his brother was the chef. We had a plate of charcuterie and cheese to start, Pork Kebabs, Beef tenderloin with chips and vegetables. A lot of wine and beer, cost for 4 very full tummies €90 lovely evening can well recommend this restaurant. Google can take you to strange places when you try and find it. The rest of Kavaje we didn't really explore as we stayed at Karpen beach

    Many layers of history, a diversity of religions and attitudes, an undoubtedly inspiring destination. Some mind-blowingly weird architecture. Albanians have a reputation of being hospitable, and they absolutely met my expectations.

    The beach is soft sandy, the water is shallow, good restaurants, nice people. Very good food at Mirage Hotel Restaurant, and especially at the hidden Fish and Sea. Nice pizzas in Pizza Italia, overall very cheap prices. Beautiful beach bars all around. The waves can be high. Still we are in Albania, so lot of poor people, garbage on the roads. You can hardly pay by card, get some leks at the beginning. The streets and infrastructure is poor, cars are parking and driving as they want. Still nobody wants to screw you (at least nobody wanted to screw us) and everybody is helpful and friendly.

    Kavaja is a small place.

    Kavaja is a small place. There is a couple place you can see there, but you can eat well. For pizza we tried Renaldo place and it was very good. For dinner we have eaten in Wood flavour restaurant for very small amount money. Great value. I have written recension for that place also.
