We stayed at Vila Amigi for two nights & it was lovely! The staff, particularly Bledi (I hope I’m spelling that right) was very helpful and accommodating- nothing was too much trouble. We arrived in later than expected and he waited for us and helped with carrying the luggage, he offered to drive us down into town himself when we checked out, sat with us and gave us travel tips and was always available if there were any issues. Very thoughtful and kind. The room was clean and comfortable, the terrace was lovely in the morning to enjoy a home cooked breakfast on with views of the Castle.

Great room and very nice staff! The breakfast was great on our own balcony. Short walk to a cool ancient bridge. Bit off from the city center and high up on the mountains so the drive can be a bit rough. Be sure to take the bigger roads, the old cobblestone streets are steep and narrow.

Everything was amazing. The people who work there were the nicest people we have ever met! So nice and helpful. The room was adorable, bathroom was amazing and the bed was so comfortable. They try their best to help you have an amazing stay and even an amazing trip, we got a few recommendations of beaches/places to visit and they were lovely. Definitely would stay here again, I loved every day I was there. Has an amazing ac btw!

The hotel is fantastic, everything was like in a fairy tale, the hotel was located on a historic street in the city of Gjirokastra which is part of the UNESCO World Heritage. Near the hotel is also the house-museum of the most famous Albanian writer Ismail Kadare whose books were written inspired by the street path on which this hotel located,books you can find in the hotel lobby. The room was very comfortable, the details left us speechless from the water with rosemary and various snacks . The details of the hotel are amazing and the hospitality was very warm. The lobby is very warm there you will find a beautiful fireplace and a beautiful bar that can serve anything you want,the breakfast was great,the details of the hotel tell a lot about the beautiful city, we can't wait to come back again to enjoy the view, the hospitality, the comfort, the cleanliness that this hotel brings. Highly recommended!

Everything was perfect, a wonderful discovery. The hotel is great, clean within a quiet location and an amazing view over Permeti that is right in front. The people at the hotel are amazing, so careful. Eat there too, food is excellent. Long life to this hotel!

    This is an absolutely beautiful small hotel set in a historic building full of character.     Really friendly welcome. Lovely proprietor's, Gave gifts to the children. Hotel has great views of river, mountains and town square, so whatever room you have you'll get a great view. Glass elevator was an unexpected bonus which gave more great views of permet. The location is the bit of Permet you want to be in. Permet has a lovely bumble to it in March/April. More going on than some other areas we visited.

    Communication with the host was very prompt. The location was excellent, clean room, very good breakfast. The bathroom was very clean. The car can go right up to the guest house . Matilda was very helpful and gave us a few tips on what to do. I wish we could stay an extra night to enjoy this beautiful place. Looking forward to another stay at Kore Guest House.

    I liked Permet a lot!

    I liked Permet a lot! It is a small town, so you see it in a single day but there is a beautiful river passing through it, and it is surrounded by mountains. There is a range of activities to do around Permet like rafting, hiking, canyoning. I stayed 3 days only but I would have enjoyed staying a bit more to do some hiking.

    The natural views are crazy in my opinion.

    The natural views are crazy in my opinion. Crazy mountains and rivers, streams everywhere. The people are very nice, I read about other accounts but we experienced nothing but kindness and politeness. Its off the beaten track which we personally like. Its not all tarted up and cheap touristic vibe like you get in so many European countries, that you dont know what is real anymore. The seaside is also now only about 50 min away - we took a road to Sarande that apparently was just completed, so we also experienced a bit of the mediteranean vibe.

    Very nice, clean city. A lot of small traditional restaurants. Hotel Fantasy do not offer his parking but underground public parking ( 150 m distance) is available wich is better option in hot summer.

    The old town has a very pleasant atmosphere, the nearby mountains are a good place for tourism and relaxation. Drivers in the city drive without following traffic rules and often do not give you the right of way at roundabouts- be careful!

    Permet is a very different feel to other places we have been too in Albania, Permet is very laid back, different from Gjirokastër. Plenty of cafes/bars and a couple of nice restaurants. Not a lot to see and do but nice for a couple of days. People are friendly. The thermal baths were a disappointment if honest but it’s a nice place for a night or 2 especially if you like hiking or want to climb up the big rock in the centre of town! 😃
