If you plan to walk around the island bring the sneakers as some part of the trail is a bit hilly and it’s better to walk with the proper footwear.

What an awesome place this was... We got greeted with a big smile by the owner Stefan when we arrived and we felt like we arrived home. This place had everything we hoped for and some! The food is sensational, peace and nature around, all staff is so friendly and helpful. And the animals.. dogs were nice to play with and Kimu the parrot lights up the place with his curiosity and playfulness. We stayed for three nights and would have stayed longer if we did not have to fly out already. We will come back next year with friends! I can warmly recommend staying at Navari, especially if you wanna feel like home and relax out of the noise of the big cities. Thank you again for the care and hospitality. Will remember this dearly for a very long time. Such nice people..

บ้านในทะเล (Baan Nai Talay) se nachází v destinaci Ban Ao Makham Pom a může se pochlubit balkonem. Loved everything about this place! Very spacious and open, loved being on the sea. No AC but it didn’t matter as the design of the place meant that there was a nice breeze throughout so it wasn’t too hot ( not sure how it would be when the weather is really hot though.) The bedroom windows were open wooden slats with no glass so you could hear the sea and everything around. The host was great and left a gift of fresh crab and fruit. Fabulous place that I would highly recommend if you want to switch off from the bustle of life.

Tree Roots Retreat is a gem for people looking for a weekend getaway to unplug. It is tucked into a field but still walkable to the beach, and my what a sight the sea was these past few days! The whole place has a distinct character with mix-and-match decor & furnitures, but they all come together quite well and the overall ambience is one of coziness. To me it feels like the summer version of curling up by the fireplace with a hot cocoa when it's snowing. The rooms are spacious with a huge bed, it is so comfy I could literally sink into it and disappear for a week! Each room also has a private "loft" which doubles as a reading nook. Don't fret if you forgot reading materials, they have a library there too! What makes the place standout the most though, isn't all of the above I've mentioned, but rather the hospitality and sincerity the retreat hosts - Carol & Dennis - show to each of their guests. What a wonderful pair! Highly recommend this place, and will most definitely be back!

The rooms was wonderful, clean, and perfect to celebrate a long holidays.😍

Great value for a Gulf of Thailand view. The landscaping is gorgeous on this property. They keep it maintained and trimmed. Chairs owned by property in the front. Grab does work in this area. Brand new 7-11 is walkable and restaurants walking distance. Good for a 2-3 nights, short stay.
