Elite Hotel Frost - Hotel & Spa se nachází v destinaci Kiruna a nabízí bar, wellness centrum a výhled na hory. Vlakové nádraží Kiruna se nachází 6 km daleko. I loved the design and the rooms, super comfortable and was upgraded to a room with a bath, very welcomed after some days hiking. The breakfast was outstanding, with a very friendly staff member meeting the needs of her clients.

Katterjåkk Apartments se nachází v destinaci Riksgränsen v oblasti Nordland a poskytuje bezplatné Wi-Fi, neplacené soukromé parkoviště a saunu. The location is excellent for hiking around Katterjock, Riksgransen and Laktatjakka.

Aurora River Camp Glass igloos & cabins se nachází v destinaci Kiruna a nabízí terasu. Vlakové nádraží Kiruna je 19 km daleko a Kiruna Bus Station 17 km. The experience was really great! It was an easy walk across the river to Ice Hotel and Sami Museum as the lake was frozen and the weather was good in the afternoon during our stay. The host is very friendly and helpful. The glass igloo was beautiful as well.

Arctic Colors Northern Lights Apartments se nachází v destinaci Porjus a má bezplatné Wi-Fi, neplacené soukromé parkoviště a výhled na hory. Pěkný, čistý, prostorný, plně vybavený apartmán. Klidná lokalita s krásným výhledem na jezero. Odjela jsem vlakem Inlandbana, apartmán stojí vedle zastávky vlaku.

Niehku Mountain Villa se nachází v destinaci Riksgränsen a nabízí ubytování s fitness centrem, neplaceným soukromým parkovištěm, terasou a barem. Narvik Museum je 43 km daleko. From the moment we arrived at Niehku Mountain Villa, I was captivated by its unique design and welcoming ambiance. Nestled in the spectacular Riksgränsen, the villa offers breathtaking mountain views that make the winter morning special. The architecture, inspired by local heritage, blends seamlessly with the environment, creating a luxurious yet cozy experience. The staff at Niehku were not just friendly but genuinely attentive, making sure every detail of our stay was perfect. The rooms, though not large, were elegantly designed, providing all the comforts one could ask for after a day in the mountains. The sauna, with its panoramic views, was a highlight, offering a serene way to unwind. Dining at Niehku was a culinary delight; the menu focused on local ingredients, with dishes that were both hearty and sophisticated. The wine selection was equally impressive, perfectly complementing the meals. Simply relaxing by the fireplace after a day in the mountain was such a nice experience. What stood out was the personal touch in every aspect, from the bespoke adventures to the warm, home-like atmosphere of the villa.

Arctic Gourmet Cabin se nachází v destinaci Kiruna a má restauraci, pokojovou službu, bar, zahradu, terasu, venkovní gril a výhled na jezero. The host, Johan, was really nice and hospitable and the location itself was lovely as it was remote and allowed us to gaze up at the aurora without light pollution getting in the way. Unfortunately I believe those were the only two reasons I was not entirely disappointed with my choice.

Scandic Kiruna se nachází v destinaci Kiruna a poskytuje bar, nekuřácké ubytování a bezplatné Wi-Fi ve všech prostorách. Jen 5,7 km odtud je Vlakové nádraží Kiruna. It was pleasant to stay at Scandic Kiruna. You can find the snowy landscape at the door. The staff was friendly and helpful. If you want to go on tours, you can find the guide office in a hundred meters. The breakfast offered a good selection of food and drink, even for vegetarians. If you want to see the northern light, this place is a good starting point.

Situated in Jukkasjärvi in northern Sweden, IceHotel features rooms entirely made out of sculptured ice from the neighbouring Torne River. Warm rooms are also offered. We’re huge fans of this hotel. Over the past year, we’ve stayed three times and have experienced every type of room they offer. For adventure lovers, it’s simply fantastic. This time, we came especially for river rafting and gravel biking to enjoy Kiruna’s summer. Compared to the winter season, the atmosphere was much quieter, with a completely different vibe. It almost feels like you have the entire hotel to yourself—which is incredible. When it comes to the rooms, if you’re mainly there for the tours, any option will do. But if you’ve never stayed in an ice room, it’s an absolute must. Since we had already tried both the Deluxe and Art Suites before, this time we opted for a warm room(kamoos hotel room) , which worked perfectly. Before we stayed in a kamoos deluxe warm room and comparing to that, only significant difference was the comfiness of the bed. Pillows and mattress could be better. Also there was no mini fridge. Again, since we were out all day long for tours, -except the mattress- those didnt matter to us. Breakfast, as always, was fantastic. They’ve even added vegan bread—kudos to the chef, it was excellent. The dinner menu was the same as in winter: pricey, but absolutely delicious. Staff is amazing as always, we seen some familiar faces from our previous stays. Mostly they are working seasonal i guess but all of them are sharing the same passion. Overall, it’s a wonderful place both in winter and summer, but in my opinion, the real highlight is the tours. They are the perfect way to discover the North, immerse yourself in the culture, and experience the wilderness. So far, every guide we’ve had has been outstanding. I believe if we join few more tours, they will convince us to move to Kiruna :)

Surrounded by mountain nature, the family-owned Camp Ripan .is a 10-minute car ride from Kiruna city centre. We booked one of the chalets. It was very quiet and peaceful there. We loved the breakfast with a huge selection of healthy and fresh food. For the vegans out there - in Camp Ripan you will not starve! 😅
