Including a restaurant with fabulous staff and wonderful food. The animals in their enclosures around the property are so well taken care of and a joy to visit and photograph! We didn’t take advantage of the pool as December is a bit too cold for us, but it is beautiful and quite large. The paddle tennis courts also look to be in excellent condition and having rackets and balls to borrow is a huge plus.

This was an amazing place to stay!! it really is a “boutique” hotel. I can’t say enough about how impressed we were with the accommodations!! So creatively and beautifully decorated, immaculately clean, so comfortable and the staff were wonderful. The owner went beyond the call of duty to ensure that we were comfortable and happy. I must add that this hotel allowed us to leave our luggage there for 10 days as we’re were cycling from Setubal to the Algarve. The breakfast was delicious. I highly recommend this hotel…not to be missed.
