The best hotel I stayed in while in Sri Lanka. Higher standard than other locations across the country within the same price range. Very clean, well maintained, big variety of food offered. Airco, hangers, place to put your bag, side bed light. I also got to see some animals just in front of my room. Hosts are very helpful but not intrusive and speak very good English (and some German) and have a great sense of humor. Some power outrages (normal in Sri Lanka) but they have a generator so no problem. The outdoor pool with the jacuzzi is almost ready :)

The safari offered by Dushan from the accomodation was the best! We saw everything, he is so knowledgeable about everything, he found the best spot for us, including the traditional Sir Lanka lunch with an outstanding view of the lake. They found the best options for our transportation and the room is perfect to relax after an exciting day!

Nejkrásnější a nejlevnější ubytování co jsme měli! Super pohodlné postele, klimatizace, nádherná koupelna. Bezvadný bazén, super snídaně i večeře! Moc milý personál a bezva safari! Není co vytknout!

Amba Kola Udawalawa se nachází v Udawalawe a nabízí ubytování s venkovním bazénem, neplaceným soukromým parkovištěm, zahradou a terasou. Udawalawe národní park je 8,1 km daleko. As we really wanted to see wild elephants, we made a stop in Udawalawe, but spotting them wasn't our biggest suprise here. We stayed at the Amba Kola hotel and this was just the most wonderful experience. The kindest owners truely, the nicest room, a brand new and well kept pool, the most delicious food from the entire trip, and playful dogs amongst which the two most adorable puppies  🐶 As mentionned, the food was incredible and we had the chance to take part in the preparation by doing the cooking class with the owner. Something you should really try after a morning safari.  Janik is also so kind, ready to help you with anything, answer any question. He will make everything in his power to make you feel like the most valuable guest on the planet. If you are passing by, really we can't recommend it enough 😍 (we thought the 10 on booking was impossible. Well we thought wrong)

A super friendly and warm welcome, well suited to the needs and preferences of international travelers. Fantastic safari tour. sahan was an amazing driver! We were able to see many animals, including the amazing leopard and more elephants super close to us! Super recommended!

Hasthi Safari Cottage se nachází v Udawalawe a nabízí ubytování s zahradou, neplaceným soukromým parkovištěm, terasou a barem. Udawalawe národní park je 16 km daleko. Dasun, the owner, was super nice and organized a safari for us, brought us to the elephant orphanage, and as well to a river, so that we could refresh ourselves on those super hot days. The place is pretty, the room comfortable and the food was really good.

Green view safari resort se nachází 8 km od národního parku Udawalawe a nabízí gril a výhled do zahrady. Penzion má sluneční terasu, zázemí pro vodní sporty a restauraci. Wi-Fi je zde dostupné zdarma.... We had a great stay at Green view safari resort. We were welcomed with a drink and early check in. The bungalow was perfect for our needs and very clean and tidy with good Air- con. The lovely couple who own the place were so welcoming. We had a superb home cooked evening meal with choice of 4 curries. Good mini bar choice also. They arranged a brilliant safari for us which was great value and with a really knowledgeable driver. We highly recommend for a 1 or 2 night stay.

A friend of ours highly recommended staying at Max Safari. Max was always smiling and so nice and helpful, it’s a relaxing quiet sanctuary, walking distance to the reservoir, temple, restaurants. The common areas were clean and comfortable, the food was very generous amounts and delicious home cooked. Max organized a safari with his jeep that was suitable for our families, we traveled with friends and both have a young boy about 2 years old. Max offered us a shorter safari that was the perfect amount of time for the little ones. We saw a ton of elephants, peacocks a crocodile, monkeys and birds. Thank you Max and family!
