She also made sure that we had such detailed information on checking in, the amenities of the apartment and what was around the surrounding area. The views from our room was just incredible. Overall, it was such an enjoyable weekend!

So beautiful. One of the best properties we've ever stayed in. Plenty of parking for our hire car. The hosts were really friendly, and invited us to an aperitif, which we've never had before anywhere we've stayed - we were a bit worried about this, as my schoolboy French is not great, but the hosts were very kind and let us use Google Translate when necessary ha ha! :-) There are lots of places you can hike to straight from the property, so you don't need to drive around if you don't want to. There is a supermarket about 2 minutes drive down the road, and more in the surrounding villages. The shower was good, with lots of hot water. The property had working aircon in the bedroom and dining area, which was brilliant because it was about 35degC all week and roasting outside! WiFi was good. Plenty of storage space. Washing machine, tumble dryer and clothes hanger all available. Lots of space in the property (it even had two toilets and two showers if you needed them).

It was great to have split areas ( eg Bedroom/bathroom/living area) so near the town of Gérardmer. It is even duable to walk to the center. Feels spacious and comfortable; great view and facilities!

The place is so clean and relaxing, the owner was so nice and professional 👍 The kitchen has all the essential utensils you need for cooking and it’s well organised. (I recommend doing your grocery shopping before you come) The location is great, with multiple hiking trails nearby. The view from the chalet is amazing too.
