It feels wrong to call this place a hostel. Villa Layla is something truly special! As a female solo traveler who’s been to over 60 countries, I’ve seen many places, but nothing quite like this. Villa Layla is more like a beautiful, charming mansion where every little detail is done with love and great taste. Berar, the amazing owner, and his lovely team make you feel like a VIP guest at a five-star hotel. The atmosphere is cozy, elegant, and full of heart. I’m currently traveling around Egypt, and I keep recommending Villa Layla to everyone I meet, I want others to feel this magic too. Honestly, I’m now thinking of changing my travel plans just so I can come back and spend one more night there before my flight. That’s how much I loved it. Don’t miss out! this place is unforgettable!

Great family Inn, with comfortable rooms, the beds are nice, toilets have good pressure and hot water, AC works perfectly. We got a room with a view for the biggest pyramid. The roof has a direct view to all pyramids which is breathtaking! The staff is very helpful on whatsapp and respond all queries. Uber recognizes the location and its easy pick up and drop off. The hotel is literally in the pyramids site and close to rooftop 7000.

My stay at Prestige Inn couldn’t have been more perfect. The photos on the website are 100% accurate. I was very happy with how friendly and attentive everyone was – they made sure everything was to my satisfaction at all times. When my watch broke, it was repaired for me, which I deeply appreciated. I was allowed to enjoy breakfast on the terrace, and they even carried up chairs and tables just for me. There was someone available 24/7, which made me feel very safe throughout my stay. The view of the pyramids is simply breathtaking. If I return to Cairo, I will definitely book a room here again. Everything is also conveniently located – it’s easy to get around. There are local vendors and ATMs nearby, and all the prices are fair. As a tourist, I never felt like I had to pay overpriced rates. I can truly recommend this place to anyone coming to Cairo. 5 out of 5. Thank you again for this wonderful time in Cairo. Very, very good.

A perfect location and view right next to the pyramids and grand sphinx, about 15 minutes walk away. Very nice hotel well run by Sameh and family. Sameh also arranges a very affordable car and driver for private excursions, which is much better than dealing with the not so honest Uber drivers. I am returning there in a few days after staying in Luxor.
