Near enough to the main street but far enough that you'll have a good view. We had a big room for the price and all the amenities were complete. Really had a great stay here! People are nice and check in and check out was easy and fast. Hot shower and water pressure are good. Wifi is fast, the tv has a lot of channels, and also has complementary soymilk and sandwich. You can easily ask for advice on what time the street stores close and open. Was able to maximize our stay by going around before all the crowds came in.

Located in Jiufen, 34 km from Taipei, Sunshine B&B features air-conditioned rooms and free private parking. Perfect place next to the main bus stop Jiufen old street. The English-speaking hosts were very friendly and welcoming. They also gave us good hiking advice. Breakfast was good, great shower, comfy bed, and spacious room. They also have a nice roof top terrace.

The owner is kind and even brought us breakfast an hour before we were set to leave, etc.

Location was excellent, only a minutes from the old town street once we figured out to just go on the big road and not the stairs. We had 6 people plus luggage so we had to take a 10 passenger taxi and it was hard for them to drop us off and pick us up next to the Airbnb. We spoke no Chinese so it was a little hard communicating with the tripool guys. So confirm with the taxi guy on where he can pick you up. The place is very cute. It fit all 6 of us very good. I especially liked the washer/dryer. Host was very helpful. We lost our water bottle and she was so kind to try to send it to us. We tried to walk from the airbnb to Teapot Mountain hike. It was a super long walk, next time we will uber to the Teapot Mountain. Loved this town, the gift shops were so cute and the desserts are excellent. Definitely a must visit and stay!

The stay is absolutely wonderful, although it’s always raining outside. The interior of the house is very new and toilet and shower is very clean. Hot water, aircon, heater, fan is available. Kids love their room (1st floor ) as it’s big and there’s games for them to play. There’s hot water for them to cook cup noodle when they are hungry. There’s a cat outside the lodging n the kids love to go n feed it food. Breakfast is delicious and different everyday. We stay for 2 nights. Timing for breakfast has to be let known before that day so they can prepare warm breakfast. Aaron, the staff there is very helpful to advice and guide us on our next itinerary based on the weather.. thank you,

Very nice place for anyone who wants to explore places around Taipei. We had the Deluxe apartment with the bathroom and it was just perfect, very clean and reasonably spacious. There is a parking lot and the general room/hall for everyone on the ground floor. There one can just relax or have a coffee or a tea for free. The owner was very nice and ready to help.

We got lots of lots of great tips from the host on good restaurants in the area, and different activities to do in the area. The house was a 20 minute walk from jiufen old street, with the possibility of taking a bus there as well. It was a quiet oasis. The photos are not the most updated photos! the walls have been repainted and the unit is extremely clean and tidy :) The host had filled up the entire fridge with an assortment of breakfast items for our stay as well.

This was our first stop in a new country and we tried to catch a bus and the sweet staff got us one with no problem with google translate. 😁 was very thankful
