We had 5 friends on a girls' trip so we booked two rooms and had more than enough space. We were able to all eat meals and play card games together with plenty of room and we were also able to spread out for downtime. It was very clean and beautiful. The host was very accommodating. We enjoyed the vicinity of the cafe next door for an afternoon treat. The views were spectacular and there was beautiful natural light in the rooms. It was the perfect stop for a get-away staycation in a peaceful town. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we could have needed and even yummy coffee. The bathrooms were clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable. I would absolutely stay here again!!

We had a very nice stay at Deer House during our 3 weeks bicycle travel through Taiwan. We were welcomed very warmly and offered to keep the bikes inside the house. We had a beautiful large room with a very nice, modern bathroom. There was a big restaurant area where we enjoyed fresh, healthy breakfast which was also included with the stay. There was also the option to use the washing machine and dryer, which we gladly took, after a few days of cycling. On top of everything the owners were very kind and explained us their work in Deer House and the local community in detail. Thank you very much for everything - we would love to come back one day!

She prepared breakfast for us, took care of us really well. I am very thankful to her. The room itself was comfy and spacious. Beds were equipped with individual lights. The place was clean. Living room was nice and tidy, the kitchen was fully equipped. It was a comfortable place.

We stayed in DF life lodge during our family reunion trip with three generations across countries to see hot air balloon in Taitung. The lodge is new, clean and well-decorated. The breakfast is delicious and healthy. The location is close to 鹿野高台, very convenient for hot air balloon viewing. One thing to note, we forgot something in the hotel after check-out. The host notified us right away and helped us to send the stuff back without charges. The service is excellent. Highly recommended and we will definitely go back if we ever go to the area again!

They were so accommodating and ensured I could check in early without any issues. When I contacted them upon arrival, they came over right away to make sure everything was smooth—such thoughtful and caring service! They made sure I was comfortable, provided great recommendations, and always checked in to ensure I was having the best experience. They were so social and engaging, always starting conversations and creating meaningful connections that made the stay feel truly special. The space itself was fantastic. My room was spacious and super comfortable, and the entire place had such a cozy, homey vibe. The common area and patio were beautifully set up, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the atmosphere. Plus, there’s an incredible tea house just across the street that’s definitely worth checking out—such a gem! Everything about my stay felt thoughtful, warm, and personal. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience—highly recommend!
